What a busy week or 2 the Residents of Newstead House have had. We have got all the Christmas cakes made!😋 Residents enjoyed tasting the mix once we were done. 2 cakes will be donated to . We've had our friends ,the Gadzukes Ukulele Players . 💃 We also celebrated Fireworks night. We had Smores and virtual Fireworks via our new projector. Everyone got to see Fireworks no matter where they were in the Home!🎆We have also braved the cooler weather and been on a few walks to Churchill Gardens. Living our Best Lives

What an absolutely amazing day at Newstead, celebrating India Day. Our amazing staff made an outstanding effort to share their culture. The Heritage Manor family had nominees for categories at the Great British Care Awards! 💥 We had the Chef from West Eaton Nursing Home , The Manager and a members of the Care team from . We had our manager Ali, plus Zoli, Miha and Gail from Newstead House too. Unfortunately we didnt come home wih a Trophey but we still had an amazing evening. 🥳 Issy from The Lawns recieved Highly Commended as did Gail from Newstead House. Congratulation to them. A big Thank you to all of the team, you make a difference everyday. Our homes wouldn't be as fabulous, without you lovely lot! 💛

Newstead House Residents would like to say a huge Thank you to Herefordshire Motor Club. A resident made a request to see Rally/race cars again 🏎.Not only did they make this an absolutely unforgettable moment for him, but also for other residents too. Thank you to all of those that volunteered their time and fuel.🥰

Residents have been busy planting up our hanging baskets. We said goodbye to summer and hello to winter! Vanda Haston was there with a helping hand. 😊

Newstead Residents took to Radway garden centre. 💐We were looking for plants for our hanging baskets. It would have been rude not to have had a coffee and a slice of cake too! 😋

We are back to baking for 'sPlace. I popped in to drop off the donations of bacon turnovers, sausage rolls and quiche! I was shown such hospitality, the place looks absolutely amazing and the residents are very much looking forward to visiting in the future!

We learnt something new from our Lovely Belinda. She came in early to show us how to make Filipino spring rolls. I can tell you it isn't as easy as it looks. Thank you for sharing this with us Belinda 😘 Next time Belinda has promised to show us a traditional pudding! Residents cannot wait. You are never too mature to learn new skills .
