Yesterday we were stunned by the young voices of our local school children from St Francis Xavier. Residents really enjoyed your presence, got involved in singing back with you too, we could see both sides had a big smile and created a feeling of joy in the home. 🎶 😀

"I also need to mention, it brought a tear to one of the relatives" that's just how touching the connection of young people are ❤️

Evening All! We've got a lot to look forward to this Christmas period! 🎁 ❄️

8th - some of the residents will be going to the pantomime at the courtyard to enjoy some great entertainment!

10th - 🌲 the school children will be joining us to sing Christmas carols to us in the home 🎵

12th - another set of school children will be visiting the residents to sing some wonderful Christmas Songs

16th - to see the Christmas lights at a chosen garden centre ✨ (blue diamond)

18th CHRISTMAS PAARTY for Venns Lane Care Home residents - very welcome to join us from 1.30pm!

19th - The Christmas Raffle presented with some amazing prizes - raising money for a chosen charity, join us please for refreshments and snacks!

23rd - Mike will attend the home to run a church service for the residents with some church singing - he does a fantastic job each month and is so kind to be doing this for our home out of pure kindness!

And for those who wish to join relatives over Christmas, we will be holding a Christmas Church service in the home (held by Holmer Church) on Christmas Eve - something we arrange each year and thoroughly look forward to with mince pies and mulled wine ✨🎵❤️

We welcome you this Christmas at any time you wish to join us in plenty of fun happenings!

On 19th Dec at 2pm we will be holding an afternoon of Christmas Raffle followed by refreshments (tea/coffee/hot chocolate and mince pies/cakes)

Drinks will be free, mince pies and cakes will be a voluntary donation 💜

* Raffle - 50p a single ticket or £2 for a Strip *
