CALORIE COUNTING - Whether you are trying to lose weight or gain muscle, understanding how many calories you are consuming vs calories burnt is key to your success.

Creating a Calorie Deficit (where the number of calories burnt is greater than the number of calories consumed) is effective for healthy and sustainable weight loss. Where as creating a healthy Calorie Surplus (where the number of calories consumed is higher than the number of calories burnt) is vital for muscle gains while minimising fat storage!

S U C C E S S - Friday was my last session with and I made sure we worked hard!

Dave has been a brilliant client to train. We work hard together and are consistent, because of this Dave has seen both his body and mind change for the better. 9 months he has been working away and when we look back we are both blown away by what he has achieved.

I have genuinely enjoyed training Dave, he works hard and never complains - even when I throw in a Cardio finishers. Well done!

This is Emma and every time we work together she does just this. I am forever throwing challenges at her to strengthen her and here she is smashing the tough nut and gliding the sled. She has come so far since we first met and should be so proud of herself!

About Us

Redundancy loomed on the horizon (for the 3rd time in 4 years). We were in the middle of a global pandemic. In fact, it was only a few months ago, all of Hereford was under water having suffered the worst floods in living memory. It’s fair to say 2020 had not started well. I met up with Joe, mainly to complain about how sh*t everything was. Joe was in the same boat as me, and like me had been on the redundancy merry go round before. So there we were (as we had been before), 2 men in our mid 30’s, facing possible redundancies, bored, underpaid, unfulfilled, sat around a table, drinking coffee.. Only this time it felt a bit different! We didn’t seem that scared that we could lose our jobs, we laughed and joked and and said we should start a business (again, this had been mused many, many times before). Except this time Joe had an idea. Cadre Personal Training (the name changed and evolved several times before we landed on Cadre). The idea was simple, we’re bang average guys who want to get fit, lose some weight and have a laugh while doing it. We wanted a business, an app, a program we could be proud of, with pillars that we believed in. 1 – Health & Fitness. 2 – Nutrition made simple. 3 – Mental health and awareness. 4 – A real internet community:- where everyone is welcome! From experts to beginners and everyone in between. Real people with real lives, supporting and encouraging each other to achieve their fitness goals. With ZERO negativity and judgement. A place where you will always feel welcome.
