🎃 Creative Flower Arranging at Lynhales Hall! 🌸

Our residents got creative this week, using pumpkins as vases to make beautiful autumn-inspired flower arrangements. The finished displays are now brightening up the home and bringing a touch of seasonal cheer to everyone.

🎲 Dominoes at Lynhales Hall 🎲

A great start to the morning as Glyn and Michael enjoyed a relaxed (and slightly competitive!) game of dominoes together.
It’s lovely to see our residents sharing moments of fun, laughter, and companionship.

🏍️ Donation to Severn Freewheelers Blood Bikes 🏍️

Earlier this year, we held our Summer Fete in support of our chosen charity — Severn Freewheelers EVS. We were delighted to welcome Rob and Nigel back to Lynhales Hall to receive our donation. 💛

Thanks to the amazing support from our residents, families, staff, and the local community, we raised an incredible £673.85 — plus an additional £500 kindly donated by the Llandrindod Wells Branch of HSBC bringing our total to £1,173.85! 🎉

This donation will help the Blood Bikes continue their vital work delivering urgent blood, medical supplies, and medication to hospitals and patients across the community — truly saving lives every day.

We celebrated the occasion with a lovely afternoon of tea, coffee, cake, and biscuits, enjoyed by everyone involved. ☕🍰

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed — your kindness and generosity make a real difference. ❤️

🎣Interactive Fishing Competition at Lynhales Hall! 🎣

Residents had a fantastic time during this week’s Interactive Fishing Competition as part of the Happiness Programme! Laughter and fun filled the room as everyone competed to see who could net the most fish. 🐟😄

It was a wonderful way to spark some healthy rivalry, enjoy each other’s company, and create plenty of smiles along the way! 💙

🌺 Remembrance Service at Lynhales Hall 🌺

In the lead-up to this year’s Remembrance Service, our residents thoughtfully prepared beautiful posters to honour those who served and sacrificed. ❤️

The service, kindly led by Lyonshall Church’s Anna Branston, brought together residents, families, and members of the local community here at Lynhales Hall for a moving morning of reflection and unity.

Voices joined together in heartfelt hymns, creating a touching moment of harmony and remembrance. 🎶

We are so proud to be part of such a caring and connected community, united in honour and gratitude this Remembrance Sunday. 🌹

Today at Gardening Club, our residents enjoyed planting paperwhite narcissus bulbs—planting now so they’ll bloom beautifully in time for Christmas! 🎄✨

It was a lovely morning of conversation, engagement, and hands-on activity, with everyone taking part and enjoying themselves.

We can’t wait to see these blooms bring festive cheer! 🌟

On Wednesday we celebrated National Cat Day with our residents enjoying some loving interactions with our Dementia Pet Cats.
The purrs, cuddles, and gentle company brought smiles and joy all around!

Cats really do make every day a little brighter. 🐾✨

🌾 Harvest Festival Church Service & Food Bank Collection 🌾

We gathered together at Lynhales Hall to celebrate the Harvest Festival — a wonderful time of thanksgiving with our friends, family, and members of the local church. 🎶

The service was filled with beautiful hymns, heartfelt prayers, and a spirit of gratitude for all the blessings of the season. 🍂

As part of our celebration, we were delighted to donate two large hampers of produce to Marina from Lyonshall Church, St Michael & All Angels, Herefordshire. contributing to the local food bank and helping support those in need within our community. ❤️

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and shared in this special day of giving and togetherness. 🙏

🧁☕ Baking Morning & Tea Party at Lynhales Hall! ☕🧁

Our residents rolled up their sleeves for a fun and tasty baking morning, polishing their skills and creating some delicious chocolate rice crispy cakes! 🍫✨

Everyone enjoyed mixing the chocolate and syrup, spooning the mixture into cake cases, and of course — tucking into their sweet creations later on during a cosy afternoon tea. 🫖💛

It was a lovely morning filled with laughter, teamwork, and the comforting smell of homemade treats wafting through the home!
