This Sunday 7th December, please come along and join us at St Martin's in Herne in remembering loved ones, or even just to enjoy the carols and refreshments. We'd love to see you there.

Christmas can be a very difficult time for those who are missing someone they love, especially when they are facing Christmas without them.

Christmas is also a time of celebration, which is not easy for those who have been bereaved, even when the loss occurred some time ago.

Once again, in order to remember and honour those whom we loved who have died we will be holding our annual Memorial Carol Service at St Martin's in Herne on Sunday 7th December, at 3:00pm.

You will be able to hang your own stars on the Christmas tree in memory of your loved ones and to celebrate their lives.

This is a free service and is open to anyone who wishes to attend.

There will be refreshments served in the church after the service.

This Remembrance Day, please feel free to come down to Herne Bay Pier between 5pm and 7pm to light a candle and remember your loved ones, and all those we have lost and honour.

Once again we are proud to be sponsoring Cruse Bereavement Support South East's Light Up The Night at Herne Bay Pier on Sunday 9th November.

A free to attend memorial event where you can light a candle in memory of a loved one and take some quiet reflection time.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Harold Peter Welch, known as Peter.
He passed peacefully on Friday 14th February after suffering a stroke in September 2023.
A dearly loved and missed Dad, Grandad, Great-Grandad and friend.
His funeral will be taking place at Herne Bay Crematorium on Saturday 1st March at 11:00am. All are welcome to attend.
We ask that donations are made in lieu of flowers for Alzheimer's Society, a charity close to Peter's heart, via our website or at https://funeral-notices.co.uk/notice/5236180
