Good to meet Dan from , and Great to get the message out the local community about home care helping keep our families together in their own homes.

It was lovely to visit the team at Manaaki Healthcare yesterday 😃 Based in town they provide personalised home care for locals in Hertford and the surrounding area.

Owner Sukhi gave me an overview of the many ways they are helping clients in the comfort of their own homes. Sukhi explained how home care can be an excellent option, keeping the comfort of familiar surroundings and retaining independence, whilst receiving top notch care.

From personal care to administration of medication, meal preparation and companionship visits, even accompanied trips to the shops .. I think our local carers do a truly fantastic job, and the team here seemed so warm and passionate about caring in the community and the many locals they support each and every day ❤️

I wanted to give them a mention and say Thank You for both the warm welcome, and the essential service they provide for residents here in Hertford 😃👍

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that our beloved Dorothy has passed away.

She was at home after a short stay in hospital. The family are holding a private funeral for her, and we are sending the remaining funds that you kindly donated towards her funeral costs.

Dorothy wanted a simple funeral, and instead of flowers her wish was to raise money for the British Heart Foundation .

She had a very special 108th birthday and was so grateful to all of you who showed her so much love and affection. She was so happy going through all the cards and had a really special time.

She was an amazing person and will be missed by all of us.

Rest in peace Dorothy.

A brilliant effort from our team to help out during a respite visit!

"I just want to record my especial gratitude for your Manaaki staff's wonderful, instant aid on Saturday afternoon when my car breakdown delayed my homecoming beyond the 2.00pm end of my respite care break. Magically, in just a few minutes your team arranged an extension of a sit-in carer to be with M # # # # for the 2.5 hours till the AA sorted out the car and I got home. Amazing, hassle-free service for which I am truly grateful!"
