Today, on Armistice Day, we pause to remember and honour all those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom.

At Tabor Court, our team has created a “Lest We Forget Tree” - a thoughtful way for residents and visitors to take a poppy and pay their respects to the fallen. ❤️

This simple gesture ensures that everyone has the chance to take part in remembrance, reflect, and give thanks - even from the comfort of home.

We remember them. 🌹

Lest We Forget

Today, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service, and we honour all those who continue to live with the impact of conflict - veterans, families, and loved ones.

At Herts at Home, many of the people we support carry stories of courage, loss, and resilience. We are proud to stand with them in reflection and gratitude.

On Halloween at Tabor Court… 🎃

Residents, carers and friends came together for an afternoon of treats, laughter and a little seasonal spookiness. From themed bakes to floating ghosts and a cobweb-covered tree, the lounge was filled with smiles, chatter and plenty of Halloween spirit. 🧁👻

To capture the moment, we created a Halloween inspired poem:

Halloween Treats at Tabor Court
On Halloween we gathered near,
With warming tea and festive cheer.
No tricks in sight, just treats to share,
And happy moments everywhere.
The room was dressed in spooky delight,
With cobweb trees and pumpkins bright.
Stories told and laughter sweet,
As neighbours, friends and carers meet.
And when the fun had reached its peak,
We ended with a cosy sleep.
A perfect day - both calm and sweet…
