HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL ! 🎉
I want to take a moment to thank everyone for your support and understanding over the past year.
It’s been a challenging time for me (as I know it has for a lot of others) as I’ve been navigating some health issues, which have kept me away from my work more than I’d ever liked or thought.
I’m looking forward to brighter days ahead and am eager to reconnect with all of you as I get back on my feet.
Wishing each of you a happy, healthy and fulfilling year ahead.
Let’s make 2025 one to remember for all the right reasons !

Last week was mental health awareness week, however that doesn’t mean you cant support it the rest of the year!
This years theme was ‘anxiety’ massage therapy can alleviate these feelings through:

Just Done A Hardcore Workout? You may soon experience DOMS.

DOMS or delayed onset muscle soreness is the aching of the muscles that is caused after a large workout session, massage therapy can alleviate these pains by:

With all the easter chocolate now gone and out of the way, many of you will be wanting to shift the easter weight!
Try considering speedwalking! Speedwalking, with an increased heartrate the first 30 seconds is burning that stored sugar as fuel, once past that threshold you then begin burning body fat do this for an hour and you could burn between 200 and 600 calories!

The benefits of massage for the older adult
As we age, we generally become less mobile. Massage helps soften muscle and tissue and reduces tension increasing mobility over time. Improved flexibility gives a wider range of motion, making everyday activities and tasks easier. Regular massage can Improve the symptoms of arthritis by reducing pain and increasing mobility.
Circulation often worsens with age, fortunately massage therapy has been shown to increase blood flow throughout the body, including to the lower limbs.
Massage Improves balance and gait through improved blood flow. Massage will increase proprioception, the perception or awareness of position and movement of the body, therefore improving balance and reducing the chance of falling.
Aids with stroke rehabilitation. When used in conjunction with physiotherapy massage can improve range of motion and aid with regaining muscle control. Massage will also help with the mental impact a stoke causes.

Haven’t got time during the Easter holidays to do your usual fitness routines, try this HITT workout at home …
The kids can also get involved!

• 45 seconds of jumping jacks
• 15 seconds of rest.
• And 75 seconds of jumping squats
• 30 seconds rest,
• Then easily repeat for a quick 20 minute session!
