Head Massage provides many benefits by helping to relieve stress and reduce tension. Stimulating the blood vessels beneath your scalp it can assist in dealing with headaches.

Home Tip: Sitting down in a comfortable chair apply medium pressure around your scalp in small circular motions covering your entire head. Using a calming oil such as lavender or sweet almond intensifies the treatment. This 10 minute massage can be carried out on wet or dry hair and you should feel the benefits instantly!

Lower back pain is one of the most frequent reasons a client comes to me for a massage. The pain maybe related to the repetitive movements involved with their occupation or caused by tension of everyday life.

Home Tip: Lay down on your back on the floor placing a tennis ball under the sore area. Bend your knees and using your feet to move your body allow the ball to slide over and loosen the muscles. This technique should only be used for 5 minutes and can be repeated daily as required.
