University of Liverpool needs you! The Orthoptics teaching team are looking for volunteers with a history or eye movement/vision problems to volunteer for teaching sessions or act in practical exams for students.

This Monday sees the launch of BLINX PACO at Myrtle Group.

You don't have to have specific log in details, just your NHS Number and Date of Birth.

We appreciate that patients may not be familiar with their NHS Number but there is a simple link on Blinx to help you find it or of course its available on the NHS APP!

Flu season is almost upon us and we well into our planning.

Like all GP surgeries, we rely on funding from each FLU vaccine we give to help cover running costs and to keep the practice viable, sustainable and allows us to maintain services.

Each flu jab given outside your GP surgery results in a loss of vital funding for us, putting our services at greater risk. While some providers may claim they are helping ease the GP’s workload, please know that our surgery is fully equipped and experienced in delivering thousands of flu vaccinations with precision every year. We kindly ask you to support your local practice by having your flu jab with us.

Again this year, NHS guidelines dictate that we can start vaccinating most eligible cohorts from 1st October. We will begin to contact eligible patients later this month to invite for your appointment.

We look forward to vaccinating you in October.
