Simple answer — NO.

A sports massage — particularly deep tissue work — creates small amounts of muscle micro-trauma (helping in the long term). As a result, strength and power may temporarily decrease, and your muscles are more likely to feel relaxed than ready for peak performance ☺️

What’s better after a massage?
• A nice walk
• Gentle mobility work
• Light cycle or swim
• Light stretching

Best time to book a sports massage:
• On a rest day
• After a training session, competition, or race
• During a deload week

And remember — sports massage isn’t just for “sporty people.” We all carry muscle tension from daily life.

Of course, I can’t stop you… but if you’re set on training after, please keep it light✨
