There are only three types of roles we play in life: victims, villains or heroes.

Uphill struggle is a fact of life. Life isn't fair but it can be rewarding. It's all about framing, focusing on the goals, it's about realising that the prize 🏆 we gain can be worth the price we pay- it's up to us.

What's on your mind? If you are in trouble, if you feel stuck, know that you are more than you are at any moment.

Think of a swan on a lake gracefully and patiently facing a stormy and rainy day. Think of the water running off its feather, like armour. The swan looks unimpressed with the thunder and the rain. It is doing its own thing gliding the surface and feeding on water plants undisturbed. Somehow it knows there are other things and moments worth attention than the rain.

You too are more than any moment and your life is more than the pain you feel right now. If you think what you have been through, the bad and the good times, the ups and downs. It all ends but also lives in conscious and subconscious forms in you and in those involved. And so, this which is now will do. You may choose to go to war with it but the war will also pass leaving collateral damage, scares and hate.

Instead, you may choose to make peace with it and find out the ways of a swan or a breeze, of water or time. The ways of 'Thy will, not mine'. You can find strength and hope in acceptance and gain an understanding of the strange paradox that you are more the less you demand to be.

Your life is bigger when it includes and lets in rather than cuts away coupons, cashes in on others or denies other moments and things in time. Choose the good. Choose God and be more than any moment. Accept and embrace life.
