Our Funeral Director/Owner Jamie McCulloch, his wife Abigail and daughter Gabby ran the TH96 run today. This was to support Cardiac Risk in the Young - an incredible cause that means so much to many local families.

All the team at McCulloch and Gleave are proud to support such an important local event and will be donating £250 to CRY through the Thomas Hardman memorial fund.

The charity provides free heart screenings in memory of Tommy Hardman, delivered in partnership with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and funded entirely through the amazing support and fundraising efforts of the TH96 community.

Last October alone the charity funded over 200 free screenings for young people in the community.
Early detection saves lives ❤️

Well done to everyone who took part in this amazing annual community event 💛

As per the family's request we are sharing the following notice:

Carole Heed
24th October 1945 - 18th March 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our beloved Wife, Mum and Grandma passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, and all the love in the world.

Carole was a devoted Wife of 59 years to Tony, a loving Mum to David, Debra, & Nicola, and a Mother in Law to Suzanne, and the late Chris. Carole was also a very proud Grandma to her six grandchildren; Aimee, Fin, Grace, Lilia, Abbie, & Evan, all of whom she adored beyond words. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, especially all her friends and family, and will remain forever in our hearts.

Carole and her family will leave Yarwood Close on Wednesday 8th April, at 12:10pm, for the Funeral service that will be held at St John's Church Hopwood at 12:30pm. Burial will follow at Heywood Cemetery at 13:30pm, shortly after we will be celebrating Carole's life at Heywood Cricket Club, where everyone is welcome to join. Carole was a lifelong Manchester City Fan and season ticket holder for many years. Her wish was to see as many home shirts on the day, or please wear something City blue just for her.
We would like to request family flowers only please, any kind donations are being gratefully received in Carole's memory for the amazing Springhill Hospice via the following link:
