Residents enjoyed a truly lovely Christmas celebration yesterday. They received Christmas presents from Santa’s grotto, and Santa also visited each resident who was unable to come to the grotto, ensuring no one missed out on the magic. Seeing their faces light up as Santa arrived was simply heart-warming. 🎅✨

We ended this special day on a festive note with an afternoon of cheese, wine, and crackers, enjoyed by all. A wonderful way to celebrate Christmas together. 🎄

CHRISTMAS FAIR AT RIDLEY MANOR🎄🎅🏼

On Saturday, we hosted our Christmas Fair, and it was a truly wonderful day from start to finish. The celebrations began with a fantastic pantomime performance of Beauty and the Beast by Troubadour Productions, which was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.

This was followed by a delicious buffet offering a wide variety of choices for residents and relatives. In the afternoon, our Christmas Fair came to life with lots of lovely stalls, including festive goodies, candles, homemade fudge, puzzles, books, tombola, and much more. Residents and children from our families also had the chance to meet Santa in his grotto, bringing plenty of smiles and festive cheer.🎅🏼

To round off the day, we were treated to an amazing performance by Sophie and Mikey, providing the perfect ending to a memorable celebration. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and joined us to make the day so special. 🎄✨

We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas carol session yesterday afternoon, led by Minor Atabek and a talented group of children from Borlase Grammar School. Accompanied by piano and violins, the beautiful music filled the room as residents joyfully sang along and thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

This afternoon, residents enjoyed a lovely outing to the Elim Hope Church: Lane End for their Christmas event. We were very lucky to watch a wonderful puppet show and enjoy delicious drinks and sweet treats. Residents loved watching the children and local community come together, and everyone had a fun and festive afternoon. 🎄✨
