We are not “women of a certain age.”
We are women over 50, powerful, vibrant, unapologetic.
As Sara Cox so perfectly said: “It’s just the beginning when you get to 50. I’m loving being 50.”
And she’s absolutely right. What an inspiring woman, raising over £5 million with heart, humour, and sheer determination. 💛

Sara’s Great Northern Marathon Challenge is a perfect example of what women over 50 are capable of. She’ll take on 135 miles across Northumberland, Durham, North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire, five marathons in five days, running, jogging, and walking through sweeping moorland, steep ridges and rolling northern hills. All with the support of communities, villages and Radio 2 listeners cheering her on 💛
Because women over 50 don’t fade into the background.
We lead. We lift. We inspire.
And we’re only just getting started. 💛
