Did you realise April is Stress Awareness Month?

Stress has become such a normal part of life,
that many of us don’t even recognise when we’re overwhelmed anymore.

We push through. Keep going. Carry on.
But your body always knows.

This month is a gentle invitation to pause, to check in with yourself and to start listening a little more closely

✨ How are you really feeling today?
Family get togethers can be so stressful especially Easter time 🐰

🌿 Closing Reflections for Women’s History Month 🌿

I’ve shared stories of women who have shaped the world in their own ways.

From healers and writers, to pioneers, voices and quiet changemakers.

Women like Eunice Ingham, Clarissa Pinkola Estés, Marie Curie, Maya Angelou, Louise Hay, Mary Seacole, Emmeline Pankhurst, Josephine Butler and Florence Nightingale, each leaving their own imprint, in ways both big and quietly powerful.

But alongside these stories, there’s something else that feels just as important to recognise.

You!

The woman reading this.

The one navigating her own seasons.
Holding things together.
Growing, even when it doesn’t always feel like it.

Women’s History Month isn’t just about looking back, it’s also about honouring the present.

✨ The strength you carry
✨ The care you give
✨ The person you are becoming

A gentle reminder that you are part of this story too.

And in your own way, you are leaving a mark 🌿

Woman Who Changed the Way We Care

For Women’s History Month, I’m sharing a woman whose influence is still felt in how we nurture and support others today.

Often known as the founder of modern nursing, Florence believed that healing was about more than medicine.

She understood the importance of the environment, light, cleanliness, fresh air, rest.

She saw the person, not just the condition.

At a time when this way of thinking wasn’t the norm, she trusted what she knew deep down, that care, compassion and attention to the whole person truly mattered.

In many ways, her approach gently mirrors what we hold space for in holistic therapies today.

✨ Creating calm
✨ Supporting the body naturally
✨ Nurturing the whole person

A quiet reminder that sometimes, the most powerful healing begins with care ❤️

For Women’s History Month, I’m sharing the story of a woman whose compassion and courage helped protect and uplift others.

Josephine Butler was a strong voice for women at a time when many had none.

She worked to support and protect vulnerable women, standing up against laws and systems that treated them unfairly.

What makes her story so powerful is not just what she did, but why she did it.

She led with compassion.
With a deep sense of justice.
And with a belief that every woman deserved dignity and care.

Her work wasn’t easy and it wasn’t always accepted, but she continued, because she knew it mattered.

✨ Standing up for others
✨ Leading with empathy
✨ Creating change through care and courage

A gentle reminder that even quiet strength can create lasting impact 🌿

🌸 Pink Full Moon in Libra, 1st April 🌸

On the 1st April, we welcome the gentle glow of the Pink Full Moon in Libra. A moon that invites us back into balance, harmony and heart-led connection.
Despite its name, the moon won’t appear pink. it’s named after the soft spring blooms that begin to emerge this time of year, a quiet reminder that growth doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.

Libra energy is all about relationships, not just with others, but with ourselves too. This full moon shines a light on where we may be over-giving, overthinking or holding ourselves out of alignment to keep the peace.

✨ Where in your life are you craving more balance?
✨ Are you pouring into others more than you’re pouring into yourself?
✨ What would it feel like to honour your needs just as deeply?

This is a beautiful time to:
Release people-pleasing patterns
Rebalance your energy
Create space for calm, supportive connections
Come back to your own centre
You might feel a pull to slow down, reflect or even retreat slightly, trust that. Full moons are emotional, illuminating and deeply cleansing.

A simple ritual,
Light a candle, sit quietly and take a few deep breaths.
Write down anything that feels out of balance or heavy on your heart.
Then gently say: “I release what no longer aligns with my peace.”
(You can safely tear up or burn the paper if it feels right for you.)
Let this moon remind you,
You don’t have to stretch yourself to be loved.
You don’t have to lose yourself to keep the harmony.

Balance begins within 🩷

🌿 Women Who Stood Strong 🌿

For Women’s History Month, I’m sharing a woman whose courage helped shape the freedoms many of us live with today.

Emmeline Pankhurst was a leading voice in the fight for women’s right to vote.

At a time when women were expected to stay quiet, she chose to stand up, to speak, to challenge and to push for change.

Her path wasn’t easy.
It took courage, resilience and a deep belief that women’s voices truly mattered.

Because of women like her, doors slowly began to open.

And while life today may look very different, her message still carries through

✨ Your voice matters
✨ Your choices matter
✨ You are allowed to take up space

A gentle moment of gratitude for the women who stood strong before us, so we could stand where we are today 🌿

🌿 Women Who Cared Beyond Limits 🌿

For Women’s History Month, I’m sharing the story of a woman whose compassion reached far beyond what was expected of her.

Mary Seacole was a healer, a nurse and a woman who simply refused to stand by when others needed care.

During the Crimean War, when she was turned away from official nursing roles, she didn’t give up she found her own way to help.

Travelling to the front lines, she cared for wounded soldiers with warmth, courage and deep compassion.

What stands out most is her determination not just to be seen, but to serve.

She reminds us that healing doesn’t always happen in perfect conditions, sometimes it happens because someone chooses to show up anyway.

✨ Care has no boundaries
✨ Compassion finds a way
✨ And the smallest acts can mean everything

A quiet reflection on the power of simply being there for someone 🌿

🌿 Women Who Taught Us Self-Love 🌿

For Women’s History Month, I’m sharing a woman whose work gently changed the way many of us speak to ourselves.

Louise Hay believed in something simple, yet deeply powerful.

That the way we think and speak to ourselves matters.

Through her work, she encouraged women to soften the inner voice, to move away from criticism and towards compassion.

To see that healing isn’t just physical, it’s emotional, too.

Her teachings remind us that self-love isn’t selfish. It’s necessary.

✨ The way you speak to yourself matters
✨ You are worthy of kindness, especially from yourself
✨ Healing can begin with a single gentle thought

A quiet invitation to be a little softer with yourself today, you deserve that 🌿
