When it's cold outside and you're feeling a bit low, try diffusing these 'happiness' oils:

Wild Orange
Ylang Ylang
Lemon
Bergamot

Use all together or pick and choose your favourites. The better the quality oils the better the results. Try it and see for yourself.

There are so many mental health benefits to having a pet, particularly for anyone living on their own or anyone ADHD or Autistic.

This year for me will be all about completing the Thames Path walk - 182 miles in total 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️🚶‍♀️
Last year I managed 18 miles on the Thames Path Challenge and various other sections as part of my training, around 23 miles, 41 in total. Only 141 to go!

Walking is so important for my mental health and overall fitness.

What challenge will you set yourself this year? 🏆Make it something fun, achievable and, ideally, social. Maybe you want to complete your first 5k / ParkRun, join a new class or learn a new skill. Go for it! There's no time like the present to do something to help you grow and push out of your comfort zone. Comment below and share what you're going to do and GOOD LUCK 🙌

December was exhausting 😴 Every year I try to manage my stress levels and eating and every year I still end up putting on weight and feeling knackered! This week has been all about nourishing my body with whole foods and gentle Pilates. Take care everyone x

As the days get shorter it's more important than ever to get your daily dose of sunlight to help boost your mood, wake you up during the daytime and sleep well at night.

I'm very lucky to live ten minutes away from this view, isn't it beautiful? I get out for a walk at least twice a week (ideally 3 or 4). Just half an hour will make all the difference, particularly if you have depression, anxiety, stress or exhaustion.

You know the seasons are changing when all you crave is carbs!

I've struggled with this time of year for a while now, as the darkness draws in and the weather turns cooler.

It's time to nourish yourself with root vegetables and plenty of warming foods.

This is my homemade Pistachio, Lentil and Cranberry Roast with the 'BEST' roast potatoes (according to my daughter!), carrots, squash, beans, cabbage and broccoli. The nut roast is a great alternative to meat, tastes fab and is easy to make. Give it a try for something new.

🤓Currently studying Children’s Mental Health Level 2. The topic is close to my heart as it’s underfunded and demand is extremely high. Sadly I know too many kids who struggle with their mental health.
