Hello September 🙌

How are we already 10 days in?! August, you were a rollercoaster—luckily a fun one for me this time. Now comes a new season of introspection, study, and growth.

Last week I submitted my very first assignment ✅ for my Access to HE in Physio and Sports Therapy. I only started mid-August, and wow… what a wake-up call after 10 years away from academic study, ha!

It’s tough, but I know that’s where the growth happens—and the excitement of the unknown is giving.

Older and wiser (in my young 35 years of living), I took the “f**k it, why not” approach. Who knows—maybe by the time I’m 40 I’ll be a practicing physiotherapist. 🤣

At first, the timeline felt daunting when I did the maths on when I’d finish a bachelor’s (and yes, I hope to go further). But after so many encouraging conversations with family and friends, I decided to make a start.

So, a big thank you to those who cheered me on—you gave me more courage than you probably realise. 🌷✨🩷

🌤️ Yoga: Back to Basics ☀️

Recently, I decided to reframe what was once called the “Yoga for Beginners” course into ✨ “Yoga: Back to Basics.” ✨

I remember being several years into my own yoga practice and still signing up for beginner and foundational courses. I wanted to break down postures, deepen my understanding of breathwork and meditation, and revisit the history and philosophy of yoga—again and again. Each time, I came away with something new. Each experience embedded the teachings more deeply into my being, my practice, my way of living.

Those courses also reminded me, time after time, that yoga holds incredible depth far beyond the poses. They solidified my “why” for practicing.

Feeling grateful for those experiences, and understanding their lasting impact, I was inspired to create a course of my own to offer: the newly reframed ✨ Yoga: Back to Basics. ✨



What to Expect:

🌱 Gentle Introduction: Explore yoga’s rich history and see how it has evolved into the modern styles we know today.

🧘 Foundations of Movement: Learn essential poses with clear guidance for safe, functional alignment.

🌬️ Breath & Mindfulness: Practice pranayama (breathwork) and dhyana (meditation) to expand awareness and connect deeply with yourself.

📖 Inner Exploration: Dive into yoga philosophy and uncover timeless teachings you can weave into your modern life.

🌟 Confidence to Grow: Leave with practical tools and the confidence to build a steady, lasting foundation.

✨ No experience required. Whether you’re stepping onto the mat for the first time or refining your path, ✨ Yoga: Back to Basics ✨ is designed to meet you where you are.





The next course is starting in just over a month.

🌀 Spinal Mobility = A Healthier, Happier You 🌀

Did you know your spine is meant to move in all directions—not just sit hunched over at a desk or on the couch all day?

Twisting, extending, and flexing help keep it strong, supple, and potentially pain-free.

🔥 Parivrtta Parsvakonasana (Revolved Side Angle Pose) is one of my personal favourites—a twist with a lot of 🔥! It helps release tension in the back and waist, supports digestion, and improves mobility.

🌀 Anjaneyasana Backbend Variation (Low Lunge with a Lifted Chest) is another go-to of mine. It opens the chest, stretches the front of the body, and encourages healthy spinal extension.

Why it matters:
✨ Keeps your back and neck feeling good
✨ Helps with posture and breathing
✨ Supports everyday movements like reaching, bending, and turning
✨ Boosts energy and focus
