A skills hub for adults with learning disabilities based in High Wycombe.

Individuals with Learning Disabilities may have difficulty understanding information, learning new skills, communicating and living independently. It may take longer to develop new skills, understand some more complicated information and interact with other people. This is where Oak Lodge can help, offering a person centered approach and making sure you are 100% involved in planning your care. We know that the level of support someone may need will depend on them as an individual, so we put a plan of action in place which has been chosen by you, based around you.

Another busy week for us has seen the new display vinyl on the windows and our new wall sign. We have been furiously cleaning to get things ready for all the furniture to go in. And realizing just how much extra space we are going to have! The staff will be getting a preview this week, so they are ready to help our clients gradually transition to the new location.

The move is getting very close so a lot is happening. External wall and window signs have been finalised and are booked to be installed next week. The security system has been fitted. The vinyl is about to be laid and we have also seen some different colours in some of the rooms this week as well.
