A skills hub for adults with learning disabilities based in High Wycombe.

Individuals with Learning Disabilities may have difficulty understanding information, learning new skills, communicating and living independently. It may take longer to develop new skills, understand some more complicated information and interact with other people. This is where Oak Lodge can help, offering a person centered approach and making sure you are 100% involved in planning your care. We know that the level of support someone may need will depend on them as an individual, so we put a plan of action in place which has been chosen by you, based around you.

Places Available at Oak Lodge Day Centre for Adults with Additional Needs

Oak Lodge now offers a bigger, brighter, upgraded space in its new home in High Wycombe, allowing us to support more people and provide a wider range of activities that build independence and life skills.

We are a Buckinghamshire Council preferred provider and welcome placements funded through the council, direct payments, or self-funded arrangements.

It was lovely to come together and celebrate our first Christmas in our brand new home. Santa even made a surprise visit, spreading holiday cheer with gifts for everyone. Clients and staff enjoyed fun games like musical chairs, along with lots of laughter. Celebrating Christmas together at the new Oak Lodge site felt warm, joyful, and truly memorable. www.oak-lodge.uk

We finally moved!
Last Friday Oak Lodge officially opened the doors to our new centre, and we were honoured to celebrate with a ribbon-cutting by Wycombe MP, the Rt Hon Emma Reynolds.
This move is a huge moment for us. Our new home is much bigger and brighter; it gives us more space to welcoming our clients now and in the future. It includes creative areas, an IT suite, skills rooms, a calm indoor garden area and much more.
Emma enjoyed meeting staff and clients, touring the building and adding to our community sensory mural, a special piece created by everyone who visits.
