We offer a wide range of sports and physical sessions to suit everyone, regardless of age, gender, mobility, ethnicity sexual orientation or ability. The sessions are open to anyone over 17 experiencing mental health problems as well as carers and all our groups meet weekly and take place in a safe, supportive and fun environment.

South Bucks Counselling are looking for a Trustee to lead its fundraising activities to help grow and expand its services.

South Bucks Counselling is a dynamic and committed charity providing affordable counselling to the local community in South Buckinghamshire. We are looking for a trustee with an interest in tackling mental health to lead SBC’s fundraising efforts. The role is ideal for someone who is retired, working part-time or has some spare a few hours a month to help tackle mental health and community wellbeing?

Role Overview: As a Trustee focussed on fundraising, you will lead the:

• Researching of funding opportunities and grants
• Writing of compelling funding and grant applications
• Development of our fundraising strategy

What we're looking for:

Someone with a sales, marketing or fundraising background.

• Experience or interest in fundraising and grant applications
• Good research and writing skills
• Strategic thinker with a passion for supporting mental health initiatives
• Commitment to our mission and community
