Beacon Down Retreat is a C18th Grade II listed, thatched cob cottage, set in 3/4 acre of garden half-way between Dartmoor and the North Cornish coast, and on route 27 of the National cycle network. We offer B&B from £35pppn and also have a four berth static caravan from £50 per day for the unit, we work on a not for profit basis. We provide organic & local produce wherever possible, we also grow our own veg and have our own chickens (who sometimes oblige us with eggs!). There is art on display (by Sheran) which can be purchased if you are interested, or you could ask for a studio tour as part of your stay. We also offer Natural Spiritual Healing, Yoga classes, Meditation tuition, Counselling & Art tuition. Beacon Down Retreat is the home of Paul & Sheran Beard, Lily the cat and assorted ducks and chickens.
