Make some noise for our Woman of the Year 2024 – Ali Ridgley 🥳! With the support of her Slimming World group, she’s lost an incredible 13st (82.5kg) 🎉.

Ali had tried lots of different ways to lose weight and considered weight loss surgery, though she knew there was no quick fix that could help her lose weight and keep it off. It was only when she joined Slimming World that she knew things could be different.

Now Ali has transformed her health by embracing a new way of living 🙌. She’s making healthier choices and has learned to adapt her favourite recipes (so there’s no missing out 😋!). With the habits she’s built, she knows her weight loss will last ❤️.

The Slimming World Kitchen team are embracing the festive period with upcoming boxes full to the brim with Christmas delights. This month there are Christmas-themed beef, salmon and venison (very fancy!) dishes and a Sage & onion risotto too! Did you know that you can order one-off boxes? 👀 No need to set up a subscription, you can order a box as and when you need it 😍.

You never get too old to be excited when the Christmas lights go up🎄! And walking around the neighbourhood admiring the twinkling ✨ displays is a great way to get moving more. Why not start a new annual tradition and take family or friends with you? As well as sneaking in some extra steps🚶‍➡️, it’s a lovely way to spend time together and have some festive fun! So here we go...December has arrived bringing our lovely Elfy Christmas with it. Elfy is here to remind us that it is in fact possible to have a healthy Christmas while still having a happy one! We don't close our Slimming World groups at Christmas and there's a really good reason for that...we know that those members who continue to attend group throughout December and over the Christmas weeks will start their new year with much bigger smiles on their faces than those who don't. Because it's in group that we can share ideas, motivation, inspiration and support. It's in group where there is never any guilt or shame in a gain because we all get it! We understand! And it's in group where we can learn how to "do Christmas" the Slimming World way...having the treats that we want to without the weight gain that we don't want!

Eat, plan and be merry!
