8️⃣7️⃣8️⃣ GET A VISIT FROM THE BOSS 🫡

Last night, we were delighted to receive a planned visit from Officer Commanding, Dorset & Wiltshire Wing, Wg Cdr Pete Church! Here’s what he got up to:

🇫🇷 watched two cadets deliver a presentation on the recent Remembrance Camp to France, a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved

💬 hosted a Q&A session with the cadets, listening to their feedback on all the activities available across the RAFAC

⚙️ watched the cadets take part in a cognitive leadership task, developing their communication and problem solving skills

✈️ viewed a demonstration of our incredible Flight Simulator, and listen to the plans for the future development of immersive tech across the Sqn, Sector and Wing

We really appreciate Wg Cdr Church giving up his evening to engage with the cadets, and we look forward to more visits in the future 🤝

8️⃣7️⃣8️⃣ take centre stage on national course! 💙

Last night, FS Kieron Cooke and Sgt Sophie Carder were invited to speak at the RAF Air Cadets Chaplains’ National Induction Course at MOD Shrivenham, alongside our Squadron Padre, Bernard Rumbold.

They delivered a fantastic presentation on the role and value of Padres in RAFAC from a cadet perspective, followed by a lively Q&A.

The feedback they received was exceptional; the presentation was described as one of the standout moments of the entire course, as their clarity, confidence and genuine appreciation resonated strongly with the course members.

A huge well done to both of you for representing the Squadron, the Wing and the entire RAF Air Cadets with professionalism and pride! 👏👏👏
