Yes- we take care of every aspect of your post-op care following hand and upper limb surgery. From wound care through to normal daily function, we’re with you every step of the way.

This gentleman came to see us following removal of a mucoid cyst; a fluid-filled swelling that forms near a joint or tendon.

First session priorities: wound care, suture removal, and clear, practical advice to support recovery and restore function. We’ll progress his treatment plan swiftly to help him get back to doing the things he needs and wants to do as soon as possible.

Following trapeziectomy, therapy focuses on improving thumb range of motion through dexterity and graded pinch exercises. These help restore strength, coordination, and control. As function improves, patients regain the ability to perform daily activities like dressing, writing, and gripping objects, supporting a safe and effective return to independence.

We love it when our patients share progress updates 🙌 Just 6 weeks after a Dupuytren’s release on his left little finger, this gent is back playing his guitar and making up for lost time. His patience and hard work have paid off, he has shown great determination with his bespoke hand therapy program allowing him to hit those chords again with ease 🎸

⚡️When nerves are tensioned at both ends after an injury, rehab at just one spot isn’t enough. Adhesions along the pathway can keep pain and dysfunction alive. Treat the whole system, not just the obvious area, that’s how lasting recovery happens. 🖐️💪

👷‍♂️👷‍♀️This had a trigger finger for 6 years! No pain, but every grip, lift, and carry ended with his finger locking.
So he adapted.
New grip. New patterns. Got the job done.
Recently, he had it surgically released and recovery is going well 👌
But years of compensation left their mark…
👉 ECU tendonitis (wrist irritation).
Now rehab looks like a renovation:
🔧 Clear the site- calm pain & inflammation
🧱 Fix the foundations- restore proper movement
🏗️ Rebuild stronger-undo years of compensation

If your body’s been working around a fault, you can’t just patch it, you have to rebuild it right.
Small issues don’t stay small. Ignore them, and they turn into bigger problems.

Good news? With the right plan, you can get back to full, pain-free function 💪

It was a pleasure meeting Gary Waltham, Chief Executive of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists.

We’re excited to follow Gary’s leadership as he continues to progress the vision for occupational therapy and strengthen the profession across the UK.

We look forward to continuing to collaborate with Gary and the , and to playing our part as a private occupational therapy provider in Northern Ireland, supporting the growth, innovation and impact of our profession. 🤝

Our focus here was reducing pain and improving movement so this lady could return to using her hand normally again.
By working gently to free the skin and scar tissue, mobility increased and pain reduced.

Restoring glide through the tissues encourages more natural, pain-free function and confidence in everyday hand use. Small, careful changes in the scar and skin can make a big difference to comfort, strength, and movement during daily activities and tasks.

A little close-up of the LymphaTouch Pro in action ✨
This device uses negative pressure and mechanical vibration to gently lift and mobilise tissue. Both the negative pressure and vibration can be fully customised to suit each client’s specific therapeutic needs, allowing us to target problem areas with the exact input they require.
These adjustable features make scar therapy precise, delivering more efficient and effective results.
