Happy Hump Day - just a reminder if You feel COVID is kicking your behind!

Feel Good = 🏋🏼‍♀️, Feel Bad = 🏋🏼‍♀️
You’ll be surprised how much we don’t protect our time - we all have been there. Feeling zapped of energy and having to cancel plans Last Minute 🤦🏼‍♀️👍
Your actually protecting yourself when you cancel because you don’t want to go - your body is obviously telling you “Don’t Go Don’t Go” and when you listen you get to recharge 🙌🏻👏🏻🤓
But if your feeling 💩 and you need a pick me up. The gym can actually be the best place for you! Sure you think “hey the Gym is the last place I want to be”
BUT...
It’s actually going to get you through and maybe even closer to the other side of negative emotions, feeling lethargic but being unable to sleep - and generally boost you so you can tackle the things you can’t say no too 🙄😵🤯
Stay in control and get yourself into a pattern of doing some short exercise! Even if you can’t get to a gym a home workout (YouTube is full of them) or even a walk in this beautiful weather can totally change how you tackle situations and people for the better.
Reaching for that Third ice cream 🍦 is not going to give you:
- a mental break 😳😤🤬😳
- better clarity
- space to be around people unrelated to whatever is pulling you down
- a way to feel in control and work on a goal only achieved through consistency and adherence
So next time your having a Nursery Level Tantrum - go grab your leggings and get out there and Lift!

It’s a question which is becoming more and more important. And one which confused me until about 5 years ago...
As a PT you assume everyone’s already jumped on the band wagon regarding Weight Training but that’s soo not true of most of the potential clients I talk to...
The Cardio Caroles of this world. Who grew up with on (wow or what)

It’s been drummed into Women particularly that the only way to Lose Weight is to abolish almost anything tasty from your diet and do daily Mindless Cardio 🏃‍♀️
You start out great and even the Veterans might only last a week or two before getting:......Really BORED 😐 😑 💀 ...........Really BUSY 🤹‍♀️ ................Really TIRED 💤 💤 💤

You know when people, like your Pal Susan, say this like it’s boasting? It’s Really Just Undermining Her Hard-work and Yours
Susan actually is Saying
“This Diet is Hard but I’m going to Pretend it’s Easy so I look Strong and like this is Effortless”
This Type of Mindset and Attitude is Everything That’s Wrong with the Millions Of frankly STUPID Diet Products out there ...
(think diet tea 💩, cabbage soup 🥣, meal replacement shakes 🥤) - They’ve all got a comment or Testimonial that says “It was So Easy - Didn’t Feel Hungry Once”...
The Ad won’t tell you that by 11.30am (who are we kidding more like 9.01am) Your So Hungry you want to Chew off Your Own Toenails 🤢...
And people are not only Falling for This Stuff! 🤷🏼‍♀️
Your mates even Jump on the Band Wagon because No one wants to Admit the Obvious- ....
Losing Weight/.....body fat/ ..........”Leaning out”/ ...............”Shredding”/ .....................”Cutting”.
- is Just Plain HARD!
The bottom Line - if your in a Calorie Deficit - Your going to Feel Hungry ...
AND THATS ABSOLUTELY OK! ...
So Don’t Fall for Susans 🐂 💩 - The Hunger will reduce the more you stick to it! As your Body adapts!
But the Truth is - Your Always Going to Want to Indulge but Your Results will Taste Better than Your Binge Ever Will!!
