π There are a lot! of books next to my bed - therapy / work related, hobby related, novels...
π€ I used to be a complete sucker for books and have far too many as I used to turn to them for answers to life.
Photo 5 is what I've accumulated through years of yoga teacher training, emotional coaching and 4 years of biodynamic psychotherapy training. There's another shelf with all my French and Italian dictionaries and reference books from my translation days.
π Now that I feel and trust my inner knowing better, I wait for an impulse from within and then find a book to nourish my curiosity.
πΏ I've thoughtfully curated the books in Tree Space Retreat too - I hope there's something for everyone (who likes books, that is) to enjoy during their rest and restoration time here.
And I'll let you in on a secret. A real (not) guilty pleasure of mine is to go to my local independent bookshop, , before each break I take, to choose a novel to sink into when there are no work or writing demands.
π How about you? What are books for you? And do you have a book related (not) guilty pleasure?
πOr a recommendation for my Christmas break read? Pop it in the comments.
With Curiosity arising from an impulse from within.
