Turns out… we’re not supposed to feel the same every day
Even though society wants us to show up like robots, same mood, same energy, same output
That was never going to work for a cyclical body like mine
So I started listening in
To the shifts
To the patterns
To my breath
Here’s what I discovered 👇🏽
1. My sleep changed
Once I stopped pushing through the low energy parts of my cycle, my nervous system exhaled
I slept more deeply. Woke up less wired
And the 3am spiral of doom? It started showing up less and less. My cycle held the answers for deeper rest
2. I began planning around my rhythm
I could finally see where my energy soared and where it dipped
So instead of fighting it, I worked with it
I planned my work, my rest, my life with my cycle as my guide
And I got the best out of myself and so did everyone else
3. I stopped seeing my rage as a flaw
You know the pre-bleed fire? The “don’t talk to me or I’ll throw a mug” energy?
I used to feel so much shame about it
Now I know it’s sacred
My rage is a signal. A voice. A boundary I hadn’t held
That fire became power
4. My breath showed me how to listen
Breath was the missing piece
It helped me tune in, drop in, and hear what my body was whispering before it had to scream
Now my breath is the first place I go when I need clarity, calm, or connection
