Subconscious calories

Long story:
Subconscious calories (burned) is a term I like to use when talking to clients trying to shift body fat. We know that in order to burn fat or essentially get leaner we put ourselves in a calorie deficit. To most - if not all, calorie deficits are not fun and not easy. To make life easier for both myself and my clients I introduce them to subconscious calories. Subconscious calories is swapping day to day habits, taking the stairs instead of waiting for a lift or walking to the shop to grab a few bits instead of jumping in the car. Finding ways to burn more calories rather than just when you are in the gym is an underrated & proven game changer.
