🔥✨ Our Bonfire Night was one to remember — the cosiest night of the year lived up to its name! The garden glowed with Swedish logs, a roaring bonfire, and fireworks lighting up the sky. Thank you to everyone who joined us — our biggest crowd yet! 🎆🎇

🎆 We’re so excited for our Firework Display tomorrow! 🎇

🌺A special mention to our beautiful display of knitted poppies at Reception — they’ve caught so many eyes this week! Many have said they’re so stunning they didn’t realise they’re actually for sale.

Our wonderful residents and staff have been knitting since March, and together have knitted over 500 poppies, and each one is available for a £1 donation. You can pop your coin in at Reception or donate online using the QR code on our donation boxes.

All proceeds go directly to the Royal British Legion. 💂‍♀️
We’re also offering home-baked biscuits for the same £1 donation.

🎃🕸️🍂 Some of our residents had a frightfully fun morning out at the Hitchin Lavender Fields pumpkin patch — ending the trip with a cosy cuppa and some bone-chilling company in the barn café! 💀☕👻

After a year off for garden landscaping, we brought the BBQ back – this time with a festival twist!

Guests enjoyed live music from Gemma Ashley, performing Woodstock-inspired classics, voted for Best Dressed, and the children were kept entertained by a visit from Ghost Spider. Our raffle winners took home some fabulous luxury hampers!

It was especially lovely to welcome so many relatives – past and present – who joined us for the day.

We also celebrated our Employee of the Year awards – huge congratulations to our joint winners, Janet and Shannon, and to Georgina, who received the Manager’s Choice Award!
