We’re starting to come into the cleansing season. I can feel a huge shift is going to come as we step into the new astrological year.

This year is definitely going to be an ending of cycles for the collective, with lots of ‘that finally makes sense!’ moments.

Things that you just haven’t been able to work out, or that you don’t understand will soon  makes so much sense and move freely with ease.

 This year is the final puzzle piece to whatever you have been working towards.
You will finally understand why it couldn’t have happened before.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to start having a bit of a clean and change up your space, I would highly recommend as you’ll be surprised with how much mental, emotional and spiritual clarity comes with it.

I’m in my own space change up at the moment, with the treatment room currently hosting much of my downstairs, and so Balance Your Being is closed for a couple of weeks but if you’d like to book in a session, drop me a message and I’ll let you know when I’m back 🩷

A very stormy, grey and wet walk taught me something insanely obvious yet deeply profound today.
Nature really is so metaphorical sometimes…

The world is heavy right now…
Content being *shown*.
We’re closing the season of the snake.
Everyone I know and love is battling through huge challenges and conundrums.
There is civil unrest in the air.
England has been greyer and wetter than I’ve ever known, and with the 7 weeks of January to contend with, it’s been feeling quite bleak.

In my own life there is a huge corridor of doors closing on chapters where pages couldn’t be turned, ticks for lessons learned, itchy feet for required patience and panic-inducing grief.

After a lovely weekend spent with loved ones, I took Bear out for his afternoon walk and it started to hammer it down.
I was wearing a cropped jacket and joggers.
Then we saw some dogs.
Then the rain got heavier, rain dripping down from the rim of my beanie into my mouth.

Personally I find rain walking liberating but this felt different, more significant.

We were returning home and I looked back at the countryside and thought ‘wow, even in this horrid weather, it’s still so beautiful’.

‘What is so beautiful?’, I thought.

(I know your brain would’ve answered prior to reading on so do let me below what you thought).

Even in the bleakest, darkest moments of our life whether it’s 76 days of constant rain, dark skies and wet dog, the fear of waking up and not knowing how you can get out of a difficult situation, feeling like all of the life has been sucked out of you so you’re drained of colour and energy… there is beauty to be found.

How grounding that wet walk was.
How grateful to have so many loved ones to care about.
How much the sun will be appreciated.
How we have to get to the literal centre of a storm to be able to see clearly through the other side.

Nature is constantly teaching us about ourselves and life - visual poetry of metaphors in life lessons and what it is to be human - if we only start to listen.

I’ve just finished teaching two amazing students who completed their reiki level 2 training and thought I’d say hi, I’m still here and my treatment room is the perfect place to unwind in these cold winter evenings.

As we prepare for the year ahead, many of us are thinking about what we want to attract and the things we want to change.

Whilst I don’t think we fully move into that energy until the start if spring, this is the perfect time to reflect, manifest and create.

Aventurine and citrine are wonderful crystals to help move us into good fortune, joy and happiness. Aventurine also benefits us as it keeps the body free of blockages and in good physical state.

Radiator clip crystals are fab for those of us in the car a lot as we receive its healing energies without doing anything - also great for protecting us while driving.

My lil aventurine clip is alresdy being put to work already to keep illnesses at bat and help me achieve my dreams and desires for 2026.

Over the last week, I’ve had two lovely clients coming in for crystal healing and Reiki sessions.

The joy of using Crystals for energy treatments is getting really specific about what it is that you need, desire or want to let go off.

Both of treatments included Crystals and Reiki, but both required different energies.

🩷One really focused on letting go, pausing, allowing space to relax and cooling a hot head.

🩷 The other focused on connecting to energies that aren’t in the physical plane, finding peace, finding love within themselves and feeling grounded within their own power.
