I took a minute to look back over this year and honestly, I forget how quickly this little business has grown. At the start of the year I wrote a list of everything I wanted to achieve… and somehow I’ve ticked so many of those things off.

This all started so I could be there for my boys. Now I look at where it’s gone and I feel proud, surprised, and a bit emotional if I’m honest. The late nights, the juggling, the doubt, all of it has actually led somewhere.

Here’s to 2026 and all it brings🥂🍾

I hope today has been kind to you and that you’ve spent it with the people who make your heart feel full. Whether it has been noisy, messy, calm or quiet, I hope there has been at least one moment that made you smile.

I am now officially switching off for a much needed break and some family time. I will be back on the 5th of January, ready to start a whole new year together.

I’ve just dropped my second round of Christmas cheer at Harwood Park Crematorium - a little something for anyone who may need it this year.

There are artificial flower pots and grave vases ready to take and place for your loved ones, and I’ve added the location on a screenshot so everyone knows exactly where they are.

If you’re visiting over the festive period, please help yourself and use one to make their resting place look beautiful and loved.

Christmas can sparkle with joy and still feel incredibly heavy at the same time. My hope is that these bring a touch of comfort and a little bit of Christmas magic to anyone who needs it.

I’ve left a few holly wreaths at Holwell Crematorium for anyone who would like one for their loved one’s resting place. Please feel welcome to take one - they’re there to be used, not left behind.

All I ask is one per family so others can have the chance too.

A few days of r&r was exactly what I needed this week before being catapulted straight back into funerals and Christmas orders.

This week I took my two boys to Disneyland Paris and I am so grateful.

This is the reality of supporting a small business, it doesn’t go to some CEO earning more figures than you could even comprehend, it goes to me and my little family, it pays the bills on our house, it goes on a holiday for my kids, it goes on memories and I mean it when I say I couldn’t have done this without you all, from those who order weekly, to those who have trusted me once during the hardest moments of their lives to honour someone they love, to those who simply like, comment, share or recommend my work.

Every single interaction matters.

It all adds into people buying from my little flower business, which has gone from a massive leap of faith to being a sustainable, bill paying business and I am so grateful.

So thank you, every single one of you, I am so grateful this is my job. I have 0 intentions of turning this into a mass producing massive company, it’s just me, my flower room and working my socks off to be able to continue to do what I love for as long as I can.

Some gorgeous funeral flowers that went out the other week for a very loved lady.

Every piece is created with care, intention, and so much love, because behind every tribute is a family trusting me at one of the hardest moments of their lives.

Funerals are currently fully booked until the second week of January, forever grateful to be so trusted to create meaningful, beautiful pieces for local families.

Evening all,

What a Christmas season it’s been so far🎅🏼
Wreath workshops ended last Friday, and Saturday illness hit. The moment I was no longer working in front of people my body shut down and I am honestly just grateful it held on until then. Since then I have been a bit out of it. The last two days I have been back to work - but taking it super slowly as honestly I pushed myself far too much yesterday and can’t afford to keep breaking myself🤣
My availability is now almost none existent until Christmas which is mental to say🫣

I have a few spaces left for grave wreaths on the 21st and a small number of festive bouquet slots in Christmas week and that is it.

After Christmas I’m off until the 6th of January for a well deserved rest, but also because there’s no import of flowers coming in from Holland over the Christmas/new year period and so those of you that know me, and my work know I’d never send out 10 day old flowers. It’s my literal worst nightmare🤣

I am also planning a little Christmas drop at some local cemeteries, as so many people visit at this time of year, and it feels like a nice final random act of kindness for 2025 to help the graves look gorgeous for Christmas.

And finally, thank you, as always.

Wreath workshops 2025 are officially over🎅🏼❤️

Over the past week I’ve had 162 people come through the doors and learn how to make a wreath completely from scratch. Watching everyone walk in with a base and walk out with something they were genuinely proud of has been one of my favourite parts of this whole season.

I couldn’t have done any of it on my own. Although it is my business, and my face you continually see, there are so many people behind the seasons that make H in Bloom what it is. Mainly - Dan, who you will all know as my glamorous assistant, he truly has been my rock over the last week and has been the biggest help. H in Bloom wouldn’t be what it is without him.

The feedback this year has blown me away. So many of you left saying you didn’t realise you could actually make something that beautiful, and the continuous asking for more workshop types throughout the year has made me feel ridiculously proud. The fact that so many doors across North Herts and Stevenage are now dressed with wreaths made in my classes… it means more than you know.

Feeling very grateful, very tired, and very proud. Thank you all for choosing to spend a piece of your Christmas with me🤍
