The team at LEAF Health Hitchin extends its warmest wishes to its Director, Debbie Ansell, who is retiring and stepping away from the business she meticulously built over the last ten years.

Hitchin born and bred, Debbie’s vision and dedication turned LEAF Health into a thriving hub, fostering a fantastic community of skilled therapists who provide essential health services to our town. Her hard work has been an invaluable contribution to the local business landscape and the wellbeing of our residents.

We’re sure Debbie will pour her boundless energy and natural sense of hospitality into her new ventures in Suffolk. She plans to create a Dog Park and offer an Air BnB, and we know they'll be a massive success!

Taking over many of Debbie’s duties is Claire Humphries, who is already a much-loved therapist at the clinic. Claire is committed to maintaining the strong community and excellent standards Debbie established, ensuring a seamless transition.

Farewell to a Visionary: Joyce Griffiths (1931-2025) 🌿

It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved founder and John’s mum, Joyce Griffiths, on Tuesday 21st October 2025, at Glan Clwyd Hospital, after a courageous battle with pneumonia. She was 94.

Born on 15th July 1931, Joyce was a true visionary who dedicated her life to holistic wellbeing. She founded LEAF Health and guided its mission with unwavering passion, helping countless people on their journey to better health. Her legacy is woven into the very fabric of our organisation and the wider community.

Though she is gone, Joyce's pioneering work lives on through every member of the LEAF Health family.

Rest in peace, Joyce. Thank you for everything. ❤️
