Meet Sarah Hopkins, one of our qualified counsellors at LEAF Health Hitchin. Sarah has experience supporting clients with stress, anxiety, depression, bereavement, loss, low self-esteem, negative thinking, chronic pain, chronic fatigue, trauma and relationship issues.

Sarah brings an interest in meditation and mindfulness to her work as she believes that being aware of the present moment, thoughts and feelings can calm our minds and help us to be more self-aware.

Sarah works through the psychodynamic approach to counselling which is open ended and also offers solution focused brief counselling for short-term counselling sessions (6-12 sessions) at LEAF Health Hitchin, zoom or telephone.

The psychodynamic approach involves exploring how your current problems may be influenced by your past experiences. This approach helps you become more aware of your emotions and bring the unconscious into consciousness.
