In our new logo, the Brown Stick represents the Wood Element. It is the structure, the planning, and the vision that supports your life.

The Emotion: Kindness & Growth.

When Wood is balanced, we move through life with flexibility. When it’s stuck, we feel frustration. We use Wood to give your evolution a place to start.

Finally, we have the Copper Circle, representing the Metal Element.

It acts as the Architectural Container for all the other elements.

It is the boundary that defines the whole.

The Emotion: Clarity & Letting Go.

Metal gives us the courage to release what no longer serves us, the Legacy Bugs of the past, to make room for the new.

It represents the value and precision of the work we do together.

Honouring the Lotus, Embracing the Spiral 🌀

There is a profound power in knowing when a season has ended.

The pressure to carry the outcome alone.

The identity of the Fixer who works from depletion.

The old skin of a business that no longer fits the depth of my craft.

Today, I reclaim:

The Overflow Protocol:
My service is a reflection of my alignment, not a sacrifice of my essence.

The Partnership:
A space where we move Qi (CHI) together through Qigong, Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy, Reiki and more.

The Facilitator:
I am stepping back into my power so that you can step into yours.

To every version of me that lived within Purple Lotus, and to every one of you who walked through those doors:

Thank you.

You were the soil that allowed this evolution to take root.

The Lotus has bloomed, and now, it returns to the water to make way for the Spiral.

Giving thanks to the blanket that kept me warm for 9 years.

For nearly a decade, Purple Lotus Acupuncture has been my identity.

It was the name on my door when I first started in Edwinstowe, the shield I used when I felt uncertain, and the security blanket that allowed me to grow my skills.

But a blanket, while cosy, can eventually become a weight.

I’ve realised that I’ve been holding onto the Purple Lotus not just out of love, but out of a legacy of The Fixer.

I believed that to be a good practitioner, I had to sacrifice my essence to fix those who walked through my door.

Today, I am performing a Release Ceremony for that version of myself.

I am returning the Legacy Bug of being the sole responsible party for your healing.
I am releasing the need to be the Fixer.
I am shedding the security blanket of the Lotus to make room for something more expansive.

To Purple Lotus:

Thank you for the nine years of safety. You served your purpose beautifully. You taught me how to hold space, how to needle with precision, and how to listen to the elements. I honour you, and now, I release you.

What happens next?

I am stepping into Elemental Evolution. 🌀

This isn't just a rebrand; it’s a reclamation.

I am moving from a place of sacrifice to a place of Overflow.

I am no longer just fixing people, I am facilitating transformations where we are partners.

By honouring my boundaries and shedding this old skin, I am finally giving myself (and you) permission to grow without limits.

The Lotus has seeded. The Evolution has begun.

I am shedding the security blanket of the past to make room for a deeper way of working.

This Evolution is the result of my own growth, a clinical practice built on partnership rather than providence.

My approach is now guided by what I call the Overflow Protocol:

I facilitate transformation from a place of overflow. By honouring my own boundaries, I give you permission to do the same.

Super excited to host this with Helen on Wednesday at the health barn.

Our day retreats have been so popular but we know not everyone can do weekends or spare the whole day.

This is an opportunity for you to experience the power of switching off and recharging without having to commit to a full day.

There’s something truly magical about spending time with like minded souls.

Taking a moment to set our intentions for our time together gives us focus.

We then learn the amazing art of using a jade roller and Gua sha for the face and body.

For those of you who don’t know, Gua sha is an ancient healing technique from Traditional Chinese Medicine.

It involves scraping the skin with a smooth-edged tool to stimulate circulation, promote lymphatic drainage and release tension.

Pure heaven!

To top it all off Helen will be delivering one of her truly magical hypno-yoga experiences.

A full mind and body release, suitable for all levels and abilities.

You will leave the space with a true sense of calm and relaxation.

Oh, did I mention there will be cake made by Helen 😋

Ever heard of a sound bath but not quite sure what it is?

Imagine lying down, eyes closed, completely relaxed… and instead of water, you’re bathed in waves of soothing sound - gentle tones from crystal bowls, chimes and other healing instruments that simply wash over your whole body.

It’s a complete reset for the mind and body.

A sound bath helps calm your nervous system, quieten racing thoughts and melt away stress.

You don’t have to “do” anything - just breathe, receive and let the vibrations do the work.

If you’ve ever been woo-curious but hesitant to try something new, this is a beautiful (and easy!) first step.

No experience needed, just a willingness to relax and see what’s possible when you give yourself a moment to truly rest.
