Recently we held a 70's road trip themed bake sale to raise money for BBC Children in Need. We took part in the challenge yourself to 25 task by baking 25 cupcakes in various unique and delicious flavours! We thank everyone who contributed and came together to raise money for such a meaningful cause!

Here at The Westbourne we have lots of chocolate lovers, but Kenny especially.

Our dementia Ambassador took the opportunity to take Kenny to the local shop to purchase all the chocolate his heart desires! They even picked up some extra's for the other residents and staff. They enjoyed a lovely walk watching the leaves fall from trees.

The Westbourne continue to maintain good connections with our local communities.... we've had a lovely morning watching ...

This morning Red engaged in more...fresh air as he took an adventure out around Holmes Chapel with his son. Spending time and bonding meant the world to Red and getting a hot chocolate was certainly an added bonus! Together we reminisced on life and the many cherished memories they share with one another!

Those living with us had a fantastic afternoon singing, dancing and enjoying a performance from the lovely Belle Aria. Her setlist had songs for everyone to enjoy and catered to all their different musical tastes. Those living with us engaged in more...connection as they all gathered around to enjoy every second of her performance and we were all certainly enthralled by her talent and cannot wait to see her again!

Remembrance Day is a very meaningful day to those living with us and we wanted to honour this day with the utmost respect and gratitude for those who have fought for our country and to the lives lost from war.

We watched the Remembrance Day procession as we worked together to create poppy art as well as a sand art commemoration poster. Those living with us are proud to decorate our home with the pieces they have created!

Those living with us have had a fun filled morning competing against each other during our just bowl session to promote more...movement!

Everyonebabsolutely loves to play just bowl and can get pretty competitive when trying to win the prize of the week, but it's all in good fun!
