Please only order what you need each month, take the time to assess what you have at home and only tick what you need on your repeat list.

We are seeing increased amounts of waste coming back to the Pharmacy - legally this cannot be reused, it is sent off for specialist disposal.

Medication does not drop off your repeat list if you don’t order each month, so please only order the medication you need SEVEN days before you intend on collecting from the Pharmacy.

August Bank Holiday Weekend - CLOSED

Please find attached the pharmacies contracted to open on Bank Holiday Monday.

Others may voluntarily be opened - you can check for your nearest using the NHS ‘find my’ service.

Please note that any repeat prescription requests you make after 4pm this afternoon will not be actioned by prescription clerks until Tuesday morning - post bank holiday there are usually a lot.

The earliest we will start receiving these into the pharmacy is Wednesday (27th) morning - whereby we will need to order the stock and begin to process. Please allow a full 7 days from ordering your prescription (or wait for your text) before collecting from the Pharmacy. We have staff on their summer holidays at the moment too!

*** Canopy Works***

We are also having canopy works carried out this weekend outside the pharmacy to extend over the Pharmabox Collection Point. If you need to access this over the weekend please check with the tradesmen that this is safe to do so.

Kelling Pharmacy is closed bank holiday Monday - should you need pharmacy provision on this day please visit the NHS ‘find a pharmacy’ website.

Do also bear in mind that any prescriptions requested over the weekend will not be actioned by prescription clerks and signed by the GPs at the surgery until Tuesday.

The prescriptions do not reach us in the pharmacy until Wednesday - we need time to order the stock, dispense, check & bag your medications. They therefore, will NOT be ready until the end part of the week.

Please allow us time to get them ready and avoid calling the pharmacy to check as this stops someone from dispensing to answer these queries.
