A big thank you to our volunteer Steve, who joined us yesterday and got stuck in painting the raised beds and starting work on a new vegetable patch. 🌱

It was great to see two of our service users, Stephen and Chris, getting involved and enjoying the session too.

💈Mandy, our fantastic volunteer barber, ran a drop-in session on the 30th January.

She kindly gave her time to offer free haircuts in a relaxed, welcoming space, helping people feel refreshed and confident.💈

🚴Eight service users from the Gwreiddiau Môn Roots Project recently joined an e-biking session. These sessions have been running for a few weeks now and have been very well received, with many attendees saying they really enjoyed the experience and felt it had a positive effect on their mental health.🚴

Mae’r sesiynau hyn wedi bod yn rhedeg ers ychydig wythnosau ac wedi cael derbyniad cadarnhaol iawn, gyda llawer o’r rhai a fynychodd yn dweud eu bod wedi mwynhau’r profiad yn fawr ac yn teimlo ei fod wedi cael effaith gadarnhaol ar eu hiechyd meddwl.🚴

🧗 Over the past few weeks, young people at Digartref have been actively involved in a variety of exciting activities. Indoor climbing remains a favourite, with two participants achieving Level 2 NICAS certification and aiming for Level 3. 🧗

“I have enjoyed my time indoor climbing with Digartref. I feel it has increased my confidence as I have had to socialise with others who have also been participating. It has also forced me to get out of the project during the winter months and has therefore, helped with my mental and physical wellbeing. Additionally, I have received my Level 1 NICAS, almost achieved my Level 2 and am working towards my CWI Training". Jack

“I have attended between 5-10 climbing sessions since September 2025 through Learn4Life with Digartref. I have enjoyed the climbing sessions as climbing was previously my hobby and it’s nice to get back to it. I find indoor climbing fun and gets me out socialising. It has helped with my confidence as I have had to speak to others”. Taylor

“I have recently received my Level 1 NICAS with Digartref and Indy climbing centre. I am also working towards achieving my Level 2 and CWI Training. Indoor climbing is an activity I never envisioned myself taking part in let alone a potential career”. Jayden
