Let’s normalise not just ‘treating’ mothers, on Mother’s Day. Let’s talk about doing your part…
EVERY… SINGLE…DAY, as a partner/ child:

💚Playing your part in life admin; taking some ownership of the school, dental, carer, medical, bills stuff… this list is endless and weighs heavy on one person doing the lot!

💚Contributing with meals; no one persons wants to think of what to eat, every single day of their lives!! Shopping, prepping, cooking, dishes. Also, don’t tell me you can’t cook…fresh lies. Please learn how to cook a couple of meals!

💚Being responsive to your environment; look about, open your eyes. DO NOT wait to be asked to put the bins out, run a hoover over, wash the dishes. Please take some personal responsibility for this. Nobody wants to ask for these things to be done 🫶🏻

⏰ Take time for the ‘little things’ that are actually the BIG things! It’s all about the cups of tea, pyjamas warmed up on the radiator, your favourite biscuits being bought, asking how you are doing? Do not underestimate the things that don’t cost anything 💖

😘Happy Mother’s Day to the Grans, Nannas, M**s, Moms, Mammys, Mothers, Aunties (without any blood relation) who are all doing their best.

🎉 Happy International Women’s Day! I am absolutely privileged to have the most amazing women in my life, and feel thankful for them every day.

🎶 I had my own little spa party today, (after deep cleaning it!) and reflected on the way I’ve been impacted by the women in my life, alongside having a bloody good dance! 🥰💃 (a little more upbeat in here today)!

💚 I have worked in mental health services for the past 6 years and feel well placed in my new ventures to be able to help hold a safe space for women, where you
can feel calm, validated and supported. I have collaborated with and advocated for some of the most incredible women over the years.
