It’s not all about the numbers on the scales … non scale victories are just as important.

This is one of mine. I’ll never get bored of putting on a hotel dressing gown. Reason? Because before I joined Slimming World I could never wear them because they were always too small

Now i’m confidently walking through a hotel in one to get to the spa! 🧖‍♀️

What a fabulous evening! So many stories bringing a tear to my eye. Sheer happiness for those that have changed their lives and sadness for the girl that I used to be 🥹 the stories shared were so similar to mine that I could have written them.

This goes to show that none of us are alone in this. If you want to lose weight I bet there are so many others that are feeling exactly like you. You are not alone.

And the theme throughout the evening was that the group and group support was imperative to their successes.

Busy afternoon chatting to other consultants, meeting Adam Henley the Greatest Loser 2023, who also ran the London Marathon this year (we exchanged lots of stories), and trying new foods!

I’ve made it to Birmingham!

This weekend on the Slimming World calendar is huge. We get to celebrate so many peoples’ achievements. Including that of Nick Furlong Slimming World with Clare Reigate and Woodhatch’s ICON winner 2024.

Now to go taste test and see some new hifi flavours 😬 …

These are a thing of beauty … my new running trainers!
Whilst on holiday I treated myself, and oh boy was it worth it!

Took them out for their first little jog this morning and it was like running on clouds ☁️

Had to take it easy due to the injury I sustained 2-3 weeks ago (doctor’s orders) but it felt good to be back out.

And then had a lovely breakfast when I got back 🍳🍄‍🟫🍅

This week I must remember, as I go back to more strenuous physical activity, it’s ok to take it easy. I don’t have to go 100% full throttle all of the time. Showing up is more important 🌟

‘I refused to be invisible!’

Nicola felt unprepared for how the menopause affected her – she was constantly exhausted and felt invisible to the world. Then she joined Slimming World ❤️.

With the support of her group and Consultant, Nicola took control of her health and lost an incredible 7st (44.5kg) ✨. Thanks to that, and the healthy habits she’s picked up, she feels strong, empowered and proud of all she’s achieved 🙌.
