If parking is tricky in your area please let me know in advanced so I can factor this in to my diary and so it doesn’t eat into you treatment time . I’m often booked back to back so don’t have time to spend trying to find a space . Thankyou

As a mobile business we understand that having a stranger visit your home may be daunting . From a therapists prospective we can also feel nervous going to a new client too even more so perhaps in an area we are not familiar with . On this post I’m going to discuss how both therapists and clients can keep safe and feel comfortable . Any input from clients or practising mobile therapists / hairdressers / make up artists would be appreciated .

As we are living in a digital age it’s all too easy for all our services to be one click away . At you are more than welcome to discuss your treatment over the phone . I personally feel this is important to build a rapport with your therapist / Client . This provides an opportunity to discuss your treatment and any concerns or queries you may have.

As a mobile therapist I think it’s important to always let someone know where you are . Particularly if you go somewhere new . My team share their live location with each other and let someone know when they have arrived and left .

As a client you may feel more comfortable booking a treatment when someone else is home or if this is not possible let a friend , neighbour or family member know you are having a treatment and perhaps let them know when the service provider has arrived or left .

Parking - In the dark winter nights there is nothing more lovely than booking a massage and settling down in your PJs . Where possible please provide parking as close to your home as you can . I can appreciate that this is not always possible and parking is often an occupational hazard for a mobile practitioner but please consider your therapist. Particularly if they have to walk some way down a dark street or poorly lit carpark whilst carrying heavy equipment . Giving them a heads up or offering to help is always greatly appreciated.

Finally trust your intuition . This goes for both clients and therapists . If it doesn’t feel right then cancel . Your safety, well-being and peace of mind should always be put first 💜
