Valentine’s Day can feel loud.
Commercial.
Full of expectation.
This week in class we’re turning gently in another direction.
Instead of focusing on romance or grand gestures, we’re practising loving kindness ~ for others, yes ~ but also for ourselves.
Self-compassion isn’t indulgent.
It isn’t selfish.
It’s the ground from which everything else grows.
Through gentle movement, breath and aroma, we’ll explore what it means to soften the inner critic… to meet ourselves with the same kindness we so easily offer to those we love.
Because love is not just something we give.
It’s something we allow.
