Serious knee injury resolving well with EMTT.

Our client had micro-fracturing and bone bruising in her knee after a fall. Conservative treatments failed to help her; here's her review":

"I fell down the gap between the train and the platform which caused a significant impact to my lower leg. David arranged an MRI which showed that I had caused deep damage to the tibial bone, the impact caused bone bruising and crushing inside the bone.

After two months non weight-bearing on crutches to rest the injury, I was still experiencing pain when walking, which was severe whenever I rotated on my leg.
At that point I started three weeks of treatment using the EMTT machine with David having a session every 4 days.

The treatment itself was completely painless and just required my knee to be supported by a wedge while on the Physio table. After week 2 I realised that for the first time in months I was walking without thinking about my knee, and moving much more freely. After 3 weeks the pain had significantly reduced, enough so that I was able to use the cross trainer and cycle at the Gym for the first time in months.

Two months after the end of my treatment, to my delight as an avid runner, I have just begun to run again".~ Mrs ST

I'm excited to announce that, alongside therapeutic ultrasound, Laser and Shockwave electrotherapies offered here at Bartholomew Way Clinic, we have taken delivery of a new, cutting edge piece of equipment this week.
EMTT delivers a high intensity magnetic field which penetrates deep into tissues, bones and joints. It's an evidence based treatment, excellent for treating soft tissue and joint conditions. It helps bone repair in slow-to-heal fractures, and the bone bruising that often accompanies bad joint sprains.
