Ever felt anxious for no obvious reason?
Sometimes anxiety isn’t connected to what’s happening right now. Sometimes it’s your nervous system catching up after everything you’ve carried- illness, menopause, long term stress or years of putting everyone else first.
Nothing is “wrong “ with you .
Your body is simply asking for safety, softness and understanding.
That’s something we can learn to offer ourselves.
So take 10 minutes and do some deep breathing or follow a mindfulness exercise. Or simply sit outside with your face towards this beautiful sunshine. #

Have you ever watched a cruise ship turn around? 🚢

It doesn’t spin on a sixpence.

A ship that size can weigh over 100,000 tons. When a captain wants to change direction, they don’t yank the wheel and hope for the best. They make a small, intentional adjustment. Then another. And another. Slowly, steadily, the entire ship begins to shift.

At first, you can barely see the change.
But give it time… and suddenly you’re on a completely different course.

Life works the same way.

When we want to “turn things around,” we often think we need a dramatic overhaul:

A brand new routine

A massive burst of motivation

A complete personality upgrade

But real, lasting change doesn’t happen in one giant swing.
It happens in tiny, consistent adjustments.

One 10-minute walk.
One honest conversation.
One glass of water instead of a coffee.
One page read.
One boundary set.

Small shifts create momentum.
Momentum creates confidence.
Confidence creates transformation.

You don’t need to overhaul your entire life this week.
You just need to move the wheel one degree.

Good Morning and welcome to a new week.....

It occurred to me over the weekend that I post a lot of things that may help you but I rarely post as to how you can actually work with me....... so here it is!!!
1. On my free facebook and instagram pages - I will post a couple of times a week, somethimes more, about wee hints and tips that can help you.
2. Inside my free challenges - if you missed the last one don't worry I have another one coming up in March......
3. Something new that is coming...... inside my paid membership group. I will be launching this in April and those of you that come in first will get the grandfather rate - this means that you come in at the cheapest rate and as long as you stay it will never go up. Great value for money!!
4. On a private 1-1 basis, whether that be weekly or fortnightly.

A simple breathing exercise for when your mind is jumping about like the dog in the video clip….. it is very simple and can be done anywhere. Close your eyes and take a couple of deep breaths. Then count your breathing. Breathe in for 1, out for 2. In for 3, out for 4, in for 5, out for 6, all the way up to 10. It is like the ebbing and flowing of the tide. If you find your mind wanders off and starts jumping around like the dog start again at 1. While you are counting it is difficult to think about anything else. You can do this wherever you are and no one will know. It will calm your mind and body quickly so next time you are feeling stressed or anxious give it a try. And the more you practice the easier it will become. Let me know how you get on.

Here is a challenge that I gave my group in my recent five day challenge. On paper it was simple….. fill seven petals of a flower with things you like about yourself. 🌸. And Wow -so many people found it surprisingly hard. Not because they don’t have amazing qualities, but because more of us are practiced at spotting our flaws rather than appreciating our strengths. From a young age we are taught to be humble, keep going and fix what’s wrong- not pause and say “hey this is something I like about me”. That’s why self-appreciation can feel awkward or even uncomfortable. The good news? It’s a skill and like any skill it gets easier the more you practice. Have a go and see if you can write down seven things you like about yourself.

What I love most about my work 🤍

People.
It’s always been about people for me.

Whether I’m working as a coach, a massage therapist, or in my role at The Olive Tree, the thing I enjoy most is the interaction — those real, human moments of connection.

I love listening.
I love supporting.
I love helping.

No matter what I’m doing, my intention is always the same:
I want people to leave feeling better than they did when they walked in.

That might be feeling calmer.
More relaxed.
More confident.
More understood.
Or simply a little lighter than before.

I love helping people feel better about themselves and in themselves.
That’s what lights me up.

It’s not about fixing people — it’s about creating space for them to breathe, to be seen, and to feel supported.

And honestly… I feel incredibly grateful that I get to do work that allows me to do what comes naturally to me: care, connect, and help.

Why I do what I do 🤍

I didn’t start my business with a big master plan.

It started with me going live…
Talking about anxiety.
Confidence.
Menopause.
Feeling stuck.
That quiet thought of “is this it?”
Life after illness.
Life after the kids leave home.

I talked about these things because I’d lived them.
And to my surprise, women started showing up.
They listened.
They shared.
They told me it helped.

And I realised something important:
I wasn’t meant to keep what I’d learned to myself.

I loved those conversations.
I loved seeing women feel less alone.
I loved watching little shifts happen — moments of relief, clarity, hope.

That’s how this grew.
From honest conversations… to community… to running my first 5-day free challenge and walking a group of incredible women through it together.

I do this because I know how easy it is to lose yourself in certain seasons of life.
And I also know it’s possible to find yourself again.

I’m deeply passionate about helping women start living their lives again — with confidence, calm, and a sense of purpose that feels true to them.

If you’re in that in-between space…
You’re not broken.
You’re not alone.
And it’s not “too late”.

This is why I do what I do 🤍
