So yesterday I went Christmas shopping to Gun Wharf Quays in Portsmouth. I have a mega busy December with two long weekends away and my own Cameron Christmas on 20th December. Usually I am doing a last minute rush around present shopping. This year however I am pleasantly organised. I am finding the build up much easier to cope with rather than last minute anxiety and panic buying. What do you do? Are you starting to feel rushed and stressed or have you got a plan? Don’t forget I have my 5 day free challenge coming in January to help you get the very best start to the New Year. Be the first to find out more about it when you sign up to my newsletter and get the free hints and tips downloads. Sign up here……. https://coaching-with-kerry.mailchimpsites.com/

So I had loads of stuff I needed to do over the weekend and my two days off. However I started to feel a bit rough on Friday evening and Saturday morning got up with a chesty cough and aching all over. So I decided to take the advice that I would give to anyone else. Just stop the world and get off for a bit rather than plodding in through. So my list went out of the window and here’s what I have been doing to get me back on my feet for work tomorrow, along with my new best friend Vicks!! And slowly it’s working. The only saving grace is that I have the most incredible wedding to go to next weekend of two people I adore and it will all be out of the way by then. What do you do when you are forced to slow down by unplanned seasonal bugs? Let me know in the comments below… ❤️

Yesterday I shared the start of my wellbeing space. It is important for me to have a quiet space to chill and reflect. Dora has found hers now too!! Where is yours? 🐕🐾

So for a while now I have been wavering in the decision as to whether or not to change my treatment room into a “wellness” space for me. I do have an office but I wanted a space that was more usable and could be somewhere people could also stay over. So slowly I am changing it. I’ve sold my couch, dismantled my old pedicure chair and cleared out 10 years of beauty clutter into three black bags!!
My day job at the cancer centre can be emotionally challenging some days so a space that I can sit and read, crochet and just relax is very important.
Here are the beginning photos….
Where is your space? It doesn’t have to be a room, it could be a corner or a chair, a shelf for some meaningful photos or crystals, space for you to take some time out and process your thoughts. Let me know below where your space is and keep following to see how mine progresses!!!

I am packing one of my gorgeous gift boxes for one of my clients to send to a friend of hers. This Wee Box of Wellbess is an ideal present for those looking after their wellbeing.
Starting with my own 90 day journal to help you deal with any anxiety and help you have the best days, to a heated eye mask and a jasmine scented to help you with mindfulness, this box is full of beautifully wrapped wellness products.
And I’ve given you an idea of what to do with the box afterwards for your own wellness.
This box is just £38 plus £3.99 postage.
I only have a few of these boxes and they are very popular so DM me now to order yours before Christmas.

What feeds your soul? For me it has always been music. I love music of all kinds, especially live. It can transport you off to another world. Yesterday afternoon me and the gorgeous Sammy took my dad to see the amazing “Glen Miller Orchestra”. He loves big band music and they didn’t disappoint.
What brings you joy and feeds your soul? Let me know below

This is what happens if you wait until you “feel ready” before you do something. It could be applying for a new job, joining a book club, moving forward in life.
You wait… and wait… and next thing you know, you’ve evolved into Sadie the Skeleton!! 😅
The thing is “ready” usually shows up after you start something and not before. I know this because this is one of the things that I have been plagued with in the past.
Here’s your gentle nudge to take that tiny, messy, imperfect first step today. Go and write your CV, ring that friend, go on a date, whatever it is that you need to do. Don’t be like Sadie!!

Today is world mental Health day. This years theme is “access to services-mental health in catastrophes and emergencies”.

The world is going through a tough time right now and even if you’re not directly affected by events, it can still feel like a lot to cope with. It’s okay to ask for help, no matter what you, or anyone else is going through. The problem today is that we have access to social media 24/7 should we chose to do so. Lots of us end up “doomscrolling “, constantly reading about all of the bad stuff and feeling overwhelmed.
We need to take time away from our electronic devices. And if watching the news becomes too upsetting, turn it over and watch something that will make you smile.
By looking after our own mental health we can help avert a catastrophe.
And my picture today sums up so much for so many of us. In Japan they repair broken objects with gold. It is called Kintsugi. The gold is seen not as a flaw but as a unique piece that adds to its beauty. It’s the same for us. Every time we feel broken and we mend the scars become a beautiful part of who we are.
I was introduced to this idea by a wonderful lady called Emma at a retreat when I wasn’t feeling so good. I remind myself of it regularly.
So come away from the news and start seeing the beauty where you think there are flaws ❤️
