What I'm doing when I'm not teaching first aid.

Earlier this week team member Kay (R4763) responded to a call in the Horsham area where a patient was choking and then went into respiratory arrest.

On arrival Kay worked with bystanders who were doing CPR and managed the scene until the arrival of ambulance colleagues.

The Patient subsequently regained consciousness and was transported to hospital conscious and breathing.

Well done Kay for a successful resuscitation.

Successful day running a refresher First Aid at Work course in Broadbridge Heath followed by Kingslea primary school second after school club session CPR enjoyed by all.
