This week I’ve been thinking about connections.
At a conference earlier this week, I heard about the “wood wide web” from the Mother Tree Project - the hidden networks beneath forests where trees communicate and support one another.
It reminded me how much of what shapes us sits beneath the surface.
Over the past few days I’ve reconnected with old colleagues and made new connections too. When you’re surrounded by like-minded people, those conversations come easily.
But it’s not always so simple when you’re trying to explain what you do to people working in completely different worlds.
In my work with people, that’s often where we start - slowing things down and making sense of what’s going on underneath.
Because understanding the connections is often where change begins 🤍
Also realising I seem to post quite a lot of photos of trees… perhaps there’s a theme there I didn’t realise I had! 🌳
