There’s a lot of noise at the moment about GLP-1 medications and weight loss.
In my work, I’m supporting more and more people who are using these medications - and alongside the physical changes, many are thinking about what it means to make changes that actually feel sustainable.
These medications can be an incredible tool to support change - but even when appetite shifts, habits, routines and the emotional side of eating don’t just disappear overnight.
That’s often where the focus gently shifts towards things like habit change, tuning into what your body needs, navigating emotional eating, and developing self-compassion.
Over the next few posts, I’ll be sharing some reflections on this - particularly around the psychological side of change.
