Our popular on-site restaurant is able to offer a regular meal package at a reasonable cost. We can even arrange to deliver our meals to your home.

We offer a changing selection of freshly prepared food at reasonable prices and is for the exclusive use of residents and their friends and family. Where possible we try and source our ingredients locally.

Lakeside Village is located just 4 miles north-west of Ashford and 16 Miles south-east of Maidstone on the A20. It is close to junction 9 of the M20. Central London takes just 38 minutes on the train.

How to get to Lakeside Village – if travelling from the M25 join the M20 at junction 3. From junction 9 of the M20 take the A20 towards Ashford/Charring for 4 miles and look out for the sign on the left. (Satnav Postcode TN25 4LN – Chapel Road)

At Lakeside we offer independent living in self contained accommodation.

At Lakeside we deal with the day to day running and upkeep of the estate and the provision of services leaving you free to enjoy your retirement.

The cost of this is charged to the residents in one easy quarterly payment – known as the service charge. The payments on account are based on the service charge budget which is prepared each year and sent to the residents before the new service year commences. The budget is the anticipated expenditure in running the estate. Each resident pays a set proportion towards the service charge as expressed in their lease.

Allotments are available if you wish to garden, or sit back and watch our gardener take care of the beautiful grounds and flowers.

Hello and welcome to our new followers of the Lakeside Retirement Village page.

Located just 4 miles from Ashford in Kent and within easy reach of the M20. Lakeside Retirement Village is quite unlike most retirement developments and offers a unique experience. Approached via a quiet road our Village is set within 17 acres of beautiful grounds with its own private lake.

It is bordered by Hothfield Common and Nature Reserve – the last such nature reserve remaining in Kent. The highland cattle roam freely and can often be seen from Lakeside.

The Village is owned by a family property company and managed by a team of long standing and experienced staff. We have many on-site facilities including 3 resident’s lounges, a restaurant serving freshly prepared meals, a hairdressers and treatment room and extensive grounds to explore.

Ashford International Train station has a fast service to London and Euro star services to Europe. Our staff are dedicated to making your retirement as trouble free as possible.

All our properties are self contained apartments of 1 or 2 bedrooms and are newly refurbished to a high specification. Every Apartment is fitted with an emergency call system for peace of mind.
