Just wanted to update you that we are still able to meet with clients face to face after the new lockdown rulings have been checked by Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I am happy to say that I am register practitioner of (CNHC). If you wonder what the CNHC's is. The CNHC is a register that has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament.

The ruling that says I can open is

The businesses that can remain open include “dental services, opticians, audiology services, chiropody, chiropractors, osteopaths and other medical or health services, including services relating to mental health.” Under the legal advice we obtained during the national lockdown in England, CNHC Registrants in England meet the definition of “other…health services, including services relating to mental health” contained in Section 17(o), Schedule 3A of The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (All Tiers) (England) Regulations 2020.

Please check that your hypnotherapist is registered with the CNHC or that they meet the standard of health service this is not something that can be self certified.

As I am registered member of the CNHC then I am still able to work with clients face-to-face. My office is COVID-19 secure. This is why it is important to check the status and professional body that a therapist is part of as the CNHC have had the legal ruling that we can still practice.

It has been great to have legal confirmation that we can still see clients in person through this Lockdown.

It is why I am proud to be part of the CNHC which is the holder of an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care. It is always important to check the professional that you are going to see is part of an accredited register and governing body.

We are also a COVID-19 secure location.

We just wanted to share after a successful reopening for clients. The new measures and process that have been introduced for COVID-19 have been welcomed and accepted by clients, and not interfered with the therapy process.

We have been hard at work doing our deep clean putting in place our COVID-19 reopening plan for the 6th of July. So our clients are safe when visiting. Our COVID-19 preparation has been lead by our governing body General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and our Professional Standards Authority the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CHNC). CNHC is also the holder of an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, an independent body, accountable to the UK Parliament. So when you are choosing a Hypnotherapist it is always worth checking the accreditation and professional standards. Look forward to welcoming new and previous clients back.
