We’re launching our Hobby Horse Club at Shelly Equine Assisted Therapy CIC — and it’s starting tomorrow!

🗓 Every Sunday
⏰ 11am – 1pm
💷 £10 per person

Perfect for pony-mad children who love being outdoors, active and building confidence — no real pony needed (but we might have some little spectators watching 😉🐴)

Each week includes:

🌟 Mini jumps & challenges

🌟🐴 END OF PONY WEEK – WHAT A WEEK! 🐴🌟

We’ve had the most AMAZING Pony Week here at Shelly Equine Assisted Therapy CIC 💛

From grooming and tacking up…
To confidence building rides…
To giggles in the stable yard…
To our fun little end-of-week show 🏅✨

We even finished the week with a fun show to celebrate everything the children have achieved – lots of smiles, proud moments and well-deserved rosettes 🥹🐎

Alongside our weekly lessons and equine therapy sessions, it’s been a full week of growth, bravery and big confidence boosts.

Watching the children grow, make new friends, and bond with our beautiful ponies has honestly been the best feeling.

So proud of every single rider this week – whether you were brave enough to trot independently, helped muck out without being asked, supported a friend, or simply found the confidence to stand beside your pony 💫

Huge thank you to our incredible team for supporting the children all week and to our wonderful ponies for being absolute superstars as always 🌟

We are SO proud of what this yard represents – kindness, confidence, inclusion and community 💛

I am honestly so proud of them all. Every single one. 🥹🐴

Shelly Equine Assisted Therapy CIC is looking for a calm, kind 14.2hh–15.2hh horse to join our team on loan 🤍

We are a small, community-focused CIC based at DH4 6QB, offering:
🌿 Equine assisted therapy
🌿 Confidence building sessions
🌿 Small group lessons
🌿 Alternative provision & SEND support

We’re looking for:
✔️ Safe & sensible temperament
✔️ Good on and off the lead rein
✔️ Happy to work in a calm, structured environment
✔️ Kind nature — our horses are part of the therapy

In return your horse will have:
🤍 Experienced, knowledgeable care
🤍 Varied, light workload
🤍 Excellent routine & welfare standards
🤍 A loving, family-style yard environment

This would be a long-term loan to the right home.
