An update for anyone who kindly sponsored Gillian ( Lambton kitchen team) to raise funds for Dementia Uk in their November Knitting Challenge.
Gillian knitted 36 baby hats in November, which she delivered to the neonatal unit at Sunderland hospital.
Your sponsorship helped her to raise £180 for Dementia UK.
A great effort.

Snaps from Sundays visit to Lambton by members of Fatfield Musical Stage Society, who sang for residents and reunited with one of their founder members.
A fabulous Xmas performance and a special afternoon of music.
Much appreciation and many thanks to the members of the society who gave up their own time to visit us again yesterday.

Premier league snaps from today’s residents football outing to the Stadium of Light, Sunderland.
Residents enjoyed a full Stadium Tour- bringing back many happy memories for our red and white supporters.😁

Many thanks to ELCAP for providing mini bus transport and to our care team volunteers who gave up their time to accompany the fellas.

A Xmas message for friends and families of our residents.

As we approach Xmas we expect gifts for residents to be delivered to Lambton by family and friends.
We have a nominated secure storage room allocated for presents to be safely stored until the big day.

You will appreciate we have lots of “mams , dads , grandmas , nanas and grandads “ at Lambton.
To assist the care team working on Xmas day and ensure that gifts get to the correct residents, we politely request that you please clearly and securely label all gifts and gift bags with residents full Christian AND Surname.
(we have some residents with the same Christian name)
Our care team will also provide gifts for each resident via Secret Santa on December 21st.

You will appreciate what a busy period Xmas is for our staff, so please call the main number 01913855768 and give us as much notice as possible if you intend to visit loved ones over the Xmas period or take residents out of Lambton for Xmas Day lunch.
This will help the kitchen team to plan meals.
