Two-unit Cantilever Zirconia Bridge with gold rest seat attachment. 🦷
In this case, the cantilever design required anti-rotational stability. Incorporating a custom-fabricated gold rest seat provided the necessary support and ensured long-term function.
The bridge was designed as the female element, allowing debris to migrate downwards rather than upwards — resulting in a cleaner, more hygienic restoration.
The use of yellow gold offers an additional clinical advantage: it can be burnished to refine margins, enabling an accurate and secure fit.
