It's everywhere and with the salon being full of beautiful gifts, sparkle and festive scent, we cannot escape it now.

Our Sunday opening hours will be 11 – 3pm. Sundays will be peaceful treatment days & will be available for browsing, for picking up gifts and pre-ordered gift vouchers, and for extra collection slots of anything else.

✨ 🔴️ SALON UPDATE 🔴 ✨️

It's been a slightly stressful few days, working ourselves through "progressive technology" issues this end.

We have decided not to continue with our landline 01273 424040 - so please kindly delete if you wish.

✅️Our main salon number will be 07555575656.

Of course, after 20 years of the landline in use, this wasn't an easy decision to make.

However, we found ourselves having to decide if to stay with our current regulated transparent provider and lose the number to a new broadband system....or.... keep the number but having to move to a slightly shady company who required us not just having to sign up for maaany years on a terrible package but also wanted us to purchase unnecessary equipment fit to power a little power station.

We didn't really want to lose our old existing phone number, but genuinely couldn't see ourselves having to deal with the shadiness of shades, for years to come.

So, going forward:

Please delete the old number and start using our new number (which many of you already have).

This number is not a personal mobile number.
It lives in salon and operates during salon opening hours.
Anyone working at Aesthetica will be using this number.
Appointments only get booked via talking to each client, however you can ping a WhatsApp message across to touch base and we will call you to book your appointment or help with gift voucher purchases.

Of course, after 20 years, it will take a while until this new salon number will be on show everywhere.

Once our new shining broadband is installed, we will receive a new landline number and (if we like the look of it) we may introduce it to you and the salon.

Going forward, 07555 57 56 56 will be our number.

Please note it and share it with anyone who may need it too.

Stationery will receive temporary updates until all is set in place & so will the salon front (shop fascia).

The old landline number may still pop up here and there, so please bear with us until it is removed from all nooks and grannies.

In springtime, our shop fascia will then receive a full facelift and refresh.

With the multiple "trench diggings" of messiest of roadworks right outside the salon in the past 2 years, the fascia has unfortunately deteriorated a bit faster than it normally would.

Our dear friend Richard of Recreative Signs Ltd will be working his magic and will help make us look neat and fresh again. We so thoroughly recommend his amazing company to anyone!!

If any of you know a good decorator, please kindly share the details.
We need someone who is honest, reliable, issues proper invoices and works in a traditional way -- using undercoat, several layers of coats, and topcoat glosses. Although this takes more days, we had much longer lasting fascias in all the years and we really don't want this trendy "one coat does it all" stuff again.
Please let us know if you know a good person or company.

Also....we are looking for a new webdesigner.
It's not urgent, but we could do with some tweaks.
Our lovely webdesigner had sadly changed career path.
We are looking for another "traditional" person who isn't "trend obsessed" but who delivers solid timely work and who can translate creative ideas into a language us "non tecchies" can understand.
He or she will also need good nerves, communicating with Sandra. Lol 😳

We aim to keep our existing salon number 01273 424040, however we will need contingency due to an upcoming system change.

We have shared our new number with many of our lovely clients over the past month & it has already become an easy regular contact number for many.

Just as our existing landline, this new business number will only be operating during salon opening hours.

You can phone, leave an answerphone message or send a WhatsApp -- and we will get back to you when Aesthetica is open.

If you contact us on bank holidays or on salon training days away, we will contact you once reopen.
Our answerphone is always updated accordingly, to update you on special opening hours.

Please note, this is not a personal mobile phone number and therefore anyone at Aesthetica will be using this phone.

Therefore please kindly do not send personal messages or pictures.

As in the past 20 years, we never book appointments via emails or messaging platforms.

You can send us a WhatsApp and we will phone you to help book your appointment or help with your query.

We always protect our clients' privacy and therefore we do not have WhatsApp groups etc.

We always insist on speaking to every one of our clients.

The 2 main reasons for this are:

☎️ Safety - we offer a very personal service and we want to ensure we actually book the person in who we have received an email or WhatsApp message from. It's for our safety, as well as yours. We only ever book clients in who we would like to treat and who are lovely kind human beings. It's important that therapists feel just as safe as the clients in such environments.
We never compromise on this and we feel very grateful to have built a very special wonderful community here, by doing so for 20 years at this location, with our core clientele existing now for 25 years.

Please kindly store this number in your phone book, going forward.

Firstly - there are no changes to Aesthetica, the business, the location, the services or anything else.

This new number is going to be an additional SALON NUMBER and we hope to run it alongside our existing landline (01273 424040).
It will stay in salon and the phone will be accessed and used by anyone working with or for Aesthetica. It's not a personal mobile.
It may possibly replace the landline at some point, but this is still to be decided.

Obviously changing numbers after nearly 20 years is a tricky decision, but we like this number and there are 3 solid reasons we are adding it:

☎️ CONTINGENCY
As most of my nearest and dearest will know (and many of you)...my middle name is and always has been "contingency". It's one of those annoying habits, and I usually have the most random item already sealed and brand new, sitting in a cupboard - in case the current one drops out. 😁
This slight madness can be very annoying, but also very useful at times.
The "contingency need" has mainly been triggered by the many "trench digging" occasions we have had outside the salon in the past 2 years.
Many of you will know...and the road and pavements have been opened up 7 times so far right outside our shop parade, causing huge disruption for residents and businesses.
Several of fellow friends with businesses all over the city have had constant phone and internet issues since... and I thought we could put a contingency in place.
If the landline drops out - this number is available.

You can now reach out to us in more ways!
Call this number - we have the same answerphone, leave a message.
You can SMS message this number, and we are on platforms WhatsApp and Signal.
Just drop us a message, with your full name and brief message...and we will call you, to help.

☎️ NEW TREATMENTS / PROJECTS
This number could come handy if we all ever need to communicate outside the salon.
For example...if we ever invite our existing clients to join us for a walk or a meditation session by the sea.
Then this number allows finding the location.
(this kind of thing may pop up in the new year and would be free to join, solely to lift us all up in this current challenging time and create breathing space in busy days. We will see and we will try not come up with too many odd ideas. Info on this will always be found in salon - if scheduled).

🟠 With communication and mobile phones often "blurring" lines these days, we have found 2 points that are really important to us & we kindly ask you to observe:

☎️ This is a salon phone and not a personal phone. So therefore please kindly do not send personal messages, pictures etc. The idea is that anyone working with Aesthetica uses this phone, and therefore messages will be neutral and professional. There will be no "groups" (WhatsApp etc), as we always protect our clients' identity and privacy.

☎️ This phone is only operated during salon opening hours. So, if you contact us outside these hours, we will respond once open. Same applies for bank holidays etc.
You can reach out to us on this number by calling us, messaging us, leaving a voicemail.
We will always insist on speaking to clients, to book appointments and we will never do this over an email or message.

Loveliest moment today.
During a deeply relaxing treatment of Massage, Reflexology and Crystals (one of those spontaneous combinations 🙂) ...
In deepest sleep, all cocooned, in tranquility...
My beautiful 88 year old client (fitter than anybody!) suddenly wakes and says "I'm in heaven.. you know... coming to you regularly keeps me so well, I know I will live forever".
And just like that... She fell back into the deepest sleep, as the treatment continued.

(While my heart was melting into a gooey mass.) 💛✨❤️
