Treatments call on a combination of soft tissue massage, fascial work, trigger point therapy and manual therapy (joint/spinal mobilisations), as well as Kinesiology taping, Medical Acupuncture and Scar Work when clinically appropriate.
Rehabilitation exercises are also given when appropriate, to enhance recovery through exercise therapy, via a web-based physio platform, which patients are given access to.
Reflexology& Ayurvedic Face Massage treatments are available for stress management, and to combat the physical impact stress can have on the digestive and visceral organs.
Kirsty has trained to BSc Hons University level, at a leading London University reputed for the provision and development of the Sports Therapy Profession . A BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy degree is held, but Kirstys initial Sports Massage Diploma was obtained in 2005. Post Grad certificates held, but she continuously builds on her training and development and undertakes relevant courses each year.
Kirsty was the Massage Module lead in 2014 & 2015 - lecturing students undertaking the BSc Hons Sports Therapy & Sports Science Degree pathways. She also Lectured ‘Functional Anatomy’ to first year undergrad students in academic years 2014/15.
She is currently the Anatomy & Physiology tutor for Sussex School of Natural Therapies, a Brighton based training academy for Aromatherapy, Reflexology, body & sports Massage.
